Visit Wat Chai Mongkhon, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province Thailand, A Thai temple with many beautiful architecture and sculptures.

Hello everyone. last month, I searched for information about temples that I had not been to in Mae Ai District. I read the information and viewed the photos of a beautiful temple. So i want to go to this temple with my wife. This temple is called Wat Chai Mongkhon.
Wat Chai Mongkhon is located at 359 Hang Tam Village, Mae Na Wang Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province Thailand.
I drove to Hang Tam Village and go to this temple. Before reaching the temple, you will see a large arch. The red arch is decorated with beautiful color gold thai patterns. The top of the arch is decorated like a buddha image hall (viharn) or ordination hall (ubosot).

When we pass through this arch. From a distance, We can see the temple wall, two tall and large trees, and the beautiful buddha image hall (viharn). On the wall between the entrances are two statues of lions and 2 angel statues.

When we entered the temple area. We saw the buddha image hall (viharn) and the ordination hall (ubosot) close together. When me and my wife saw the 2 architectures, we became more fascinated and like this temple.

Buddha image hall (viharn), large white, gilded lacquered with beautiful thai patterns in lanna art style. In front there is a staircase shaped like a serpent like other temples.Inside the buddha image hall (viharn) is not open to visitors.

Ordination hall (ubosot) gilded lacquered with beautiful thai patterns similar to the buddha image hall (viharn). The wall of the ordination hall (ubosot) in front has buddhist frescoes. The front entrance staircase of the ordination hall (ubosot) is the staircase shaped similar a black crocodile.

When we walk around this temple, we will see a white bell tower shaped similar a pagoda.

Large black gong and bell decorated with golden patterns, which is beautiful.

Various small pavilions in the temple, inside each pavilion there are sculptures such as Brahma's pavilion, Buddha's pavilion. and King Naresuan's pavilion.

Within the temple area there are other sculptures and buddha images that are not in the building.

The atmosphere around the temple area, besides there are many big trees. The temple also has many mock azalea throughout the temple.

Also, there is a pagoda which is in a different place from the temple, but this pagoda is in the care of the temple. This pagoda is named Phra Chedi Thanjai Therdthai Ong Rachan. This pagoda is on the mountain. The distance from Wat Chai Mongkhon to Phra Chedi Thanjai Thet Thai Ong Rachan is about 950 meters. This pagoda is beautiful and around the pagoda there are many sculptures and buddha images. Such as a large serpent sculpture.
