Visit Wat Sa Ni Khom, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, Another temple worth visiting.

Hello everyone. Last week it didn't rain, so my wife and I had the opportunity to visit a temple in our district. This temple is called Wat Sa Ni Khom. Me and my wife can't remember whether we've ever been to this temple or not. Because we visited many temples in our district and nearby districts. But I think we probably haven't visited this temple yet. So I want to share this temple with everyone in this post.
Wat Sa Ni Khom or locals call this temple Wat Nong Tum. This temple was built in the year A.D. 1930 or about 93 years ago. But the temple recently received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree in A.D. 2000 or about 23 years ago. This is a brief history of this temple.
There are many highlights of this temple that I want to share.
The first highlight of the temple : the large temple entrance arch. When we arrived at this temple. Of course, as soon as we saw the entrance arch of this temple, we liked and were fascinated with this entrance arch immediately.
The entrance arch is made of cement and decorated with beautiful Lanna style stucco patterns. The roof of the entrance arch, built like the roof of the buddha image hall (viharn) or ordination hall (ubosot).
In addition, inside the entrance arch there are two giant sculptures on the left and right between the entrances. And two lion sculptures on the left and right walls between the entrance arches.

Highlight 2 : When we enter the temple. We will see a buddha image hall (viharn). This buddha image hall (viharn) is built from bricks with cement, decorated with beautiful colorful stucco patterns. And the door and window edges are also decorated with beautiful stucco patterns as well. In addition, there are also beautiful buddhist paintings in front of the buddha image hall (viharn). Unfortunately, the buddha image hall (viharn) was not open to visitors. So we were not able to visit the inside of the buddha image hall (viharn) that day. Take a look, the beautiful outside of this buddha image hall (viharn).

There are other sculptures in the buddha image hall (viharn) area. Such as the entrance staircase in the shape of the serpent, sculptures in the shape of buddhist saint and others.

Highlight 3 : Gold painted pagoda area the back of the buddha image hall (viharn). I'm not sure what style this pagoda, but I like this pagoda, Looks unique and different from the pagodas of other temples.

Highlight 4 : Large white reclining buddha statue. This reclining buddha statue looks simple but beautiful.

Highlight 5 : Bell Tower, 2-story lanna style bell tower with a roof similar to buddha image hall (viharn) or ordination hall (ubosot).

This temple has another entrance, but this one has no arch. On the wall between the left and right entrances are two lion sculptures.

The overall atmosphere of the temple has garden with many trees.

On the way home on the road, There were beautiful clouds in the sky, so I took pictures of the sky view and shared them with everyone too.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
