Third Birthday Celebration Of My Son Kristof Vyeer At A Local Restaurant

Another 365 days of survival! That's how a birthday of my son reminds me while he turns three, it's also my achievement as I let him grow healthy and bright everyday. Since I discovered this place whenever there is a special occasion I'll never cook at home anymore because it's more expensive and it takes so much time to prepare. So we only went here to have dinner to celebrate my son's birthday.

This is his birthday cake and I ordered it a month ago and I was very disappointed to see it. This is actually my second order. I was satisfied with the first order during my daughter's birthday but this time, I was unhappy. My husband decided not to bring the cake at the restaurant because it's messy. The fondant dedication is not properly aligned and the primary coat of the cake is not smooth. The cake isn't perfect in size, it's not a cylinder look, it's like a punched cylinder. The only problem of this cake is that it is not planned. It was baked so fast and I don't know why because I ordered it for a long time. Hit anyway my son likes it. Also I ordered chocolate moist but the Baker baked ube cake.

My husband had prepared a gift for him. It was a big construction truck. The more he is very happy because this is one of his favorite toy and it was bigger compared to his old toys.

After placing our orders, we took pictures. And it took us 20 minutes before we received our food and I think that's reasonable because we order a lot.

These are the foods we ordered. First is the pork steak which is my all time favorite in this restaurant. Then we have the paklay, it's very good and so spicy. Then the chicken adobo, it's good but it has more bones than meat. Then the sisig which is their best seller. It's my husband's favorite and I agree with it but if I'm going to choose the best among the four it would be the pork steak. Everything is sizzling and it's served in a sizzling plate. We have the fries too because that's my kid's favorite and also their best seller mango shake made with real mango. We ordered only two because small oz is not available and bigger oz is too big for the kids so we shared.

And in the middle of a happy dinner is a sudden power outage. It took almost five minutes and the store doesn't have any emergency lights like flashlight, rechargeables or solar lights like they only waited for the electricity to come back. Luckily we have our phones at full charge so nothing to worry about.

The electricity came back and we are almost done. I can see how my son is very happy. I asked him if he's happy, he said he is very happy. I also let him pray before eating and we all sang happy birthday before we ate. I really thank God for a nice weather making it a successful celebration.
