A weekend saying goodbye to my daughter
My daughter lives in Margarita Island, she came to spend Christmas with us, after sharing with us for a month it was time to return home. To avoid the sadness of saying goodbye, we decided to do something different and fun. We went for a walk to our favorite shopping mall called Lider, which is located very close to my house. The first thing we did when we arrived was to enjoy some very tasty ice cream, made with natural fruit. We all wanted to enjoy the most famous ice cream of that place which is with mango, pineapple, coconut filled with condensed milk, but there was only one left. My mother was lucky enough to enjoy the ice cream with her favorite fruit which is passion fruit and my daughter enjoyed a strawberry ice cream filled with blackberry pulp... As all the flavors were VERY delicious, we decided to share and enjoy every bite of ice cream between the 3 of us, as they say: Sharing is the secret of living.
We visited some stores that offer great discounts on all their merchandise, these offers are available during the month of January, I took the opportunity to buy a birthday gift for my daughter, since she turns January 10 and I will not be able to enjoy it with her. After touring the shops, we were prompted to enjoy a tasty snack. We were undecided between visiting a very famous place where they sell the best cocadas with cinnamon or sitting in a cafeteria that is very beautifully decorated and they prepare delicious cookies. In this place they make some very delicious cookies, with a very crunchy texture and fill them with lemon pastry cream. Friends, I promise you they are a delicacy! Without a doubt, this dessert became one of my favorites, although I must admit that EVERYONE has a special magic!
The time has come to return to our home, since my mother suffers from scoliosis and we wanted to prevent her from having a pain crisis. I must confess that the sadness that is felt at the moment of farewell is inevitable. Hugs and kisses are not enough to say goodbye or see you soon in that last minute where we understand that there is NO return or turning back.
I was left with the beautiful moments, with the memories and with the hope that VERY soon we will meet again with that hug that we always felt was missing, because there will always be a void that can only be filled with the presence of those unique beings and Wonderful as are the children.

You are right my friend, there are moments that slip through our hands, because it is the Universe who decides the pauses and the times of our history. The important thing is to have faith that God will always write the best lines in our life.
That night my mother managed to rest without pain, we take good care of her, we try not to let her go out to avoid her exhaustion, but that day was a VERY special occasion.

I just called my daughter to wish her a Happy Birthday, I am hopeful that next year we will celebrate together and I will be able to prepare her birthday cake and her favorite dish.
