Exquisite sponge cake with chocolate and cashew decorated with a delicious chocolate pudding / ENG-ESP

Today, I will explain "step by step" how to prepare an exquisite "chocolate cake with cashew", to decorate this delicious cake I came up with the fantastic idea of making a succulent "chocolate pudding"... Let's put on the apron!

Hoy, les explicaré "paso a paso" como preparar un exquisito "bizcocho de chocolate con merey", para decorar éste delicioso pastel se me ocurrió la fantástica idea de preparar un suculento "pudín de chocolate" ... Pongámonos el delantal!

  • We will need: 1 cup of sugar, 2 cups of wheat flour, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sunflower oil, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1/2 cup of cashew, 1/2 cup of chocolate powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  • Necesitaremos: 1 taza de azúcar, 2 tazas de harina de trigo, 1/2 taza de leche, 1/2 taza de aceite de girasol, 2 huevos, 1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla, 1/2 cucharadita de canela en polvo, 1/2 taza de merey, 1/2 taza de chocolate en polvo, 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear y una pizca de sal.

  • Start by mixing the eggs with the sugar, beat at "high" speed for 3 minutes.
  • Empezaremos mezclando los huevos con el azúcar, batimos a velocidad "alta" durante 3 minutos.

  • Then add the sunflower oil, mix for 1 minute at "medium" speed.
  • A continuación añadimos el aceite de girasol, mezclamos durante 1 minuto a velocidad "media".

  • We integrate the milk...

  • Add our aromatic vanilla essence (1 heaping teaspoon).
  • Agregamos nuestra aromática esencia de vainilla (1 cucharadita colmada).

  • In this step: we incorporate our succulent chocolate powder, we will mix by hand, until we get a homogeneous mixture.
  • En éste paso: incorporamos nuestro suculento chocolate en polvo, mezclaremos de forma manual, hasta conseguir una mezcla homogénea.

  • Add the cashews, for this recipe I crushed them. I suggest reserving it for the final decoration.
  • Añadimos el merey, para ésta receta lo trituré. Les sugiero reservar algunos para el decorado final.

  • Add the flour and mix in an enveloping way until ALL the ingredients are well integrated.
  • Añadimos la harina, mezclamos de forma envolvente hasta que TODOS los ingredientes se integren bien.

  • We incorporate our delicious mixture into a refractory container, bake at 180º for 40 minutes or until we check that our cake is ready.
  • Incorporamos nuestra deliciosa mezcla a un envase refractario, horneamos a 180º durante 40 minutos o hasta comprobar que nuestro pastel está listo.

  • The procedure is VERY easy: add 2 cups of milk along with 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, cook until it acquires a creamy texture and let it cool to use.
  • Decoramos nuestro bizcocho con nuestro apetitoso pudín de chocolate, el procedimiento es MUY fácil: añadimos 2 tazas de leche junto con 2 cucharadas de azúcar, 2 cucharadas de chocolate en polvo y 2 cucharadas de fécula de maíz, cocinamos hasta que adquiera una textura cremosa y dejamos enfriar para utilizar.

Brilliant idea, cashew and cake, I have never tried a cake with cashew nuts before, but I am sure it will be great, I wish I could just snatch some through my phone. Thanks for sharing
