Good evening to all the women of this wonderful community, I hope you had a great day.... Today, I share with you my entry to the contest for this week. On February 14 we celebrate the day of love and friendship, it is a day in which we dedicate all our energy to make it an unforgettable memory, enjoying a very special evening, where we thank through gifts and gestures the company of that person who occupies a special place in our heart.

In a few days it will be Valentine's Day. Most of the marketing of that day is focused on couples, but we must not forget that we also celebrate Friendship Day. Do you have a special friend with whom you would like to celebrate? What would you like to do together? What would you give that person as a gift?

Throughout my life I have had very good friends, with whom I shared not only bonds of friendship but also family ties, since I met my best friends through my cousins. I had the good fortune to enjoy that beautiful friendship while the dating relationship with my cousins lasted, some lasted years and others were a few months, it was really strange, because it was as if love and friendship were united by an umbilical cord and at the end point of the relationship was included the end of the friendship. After that experience that was repeated for many years, I made the decision not to cling so much until I was sure that the feeling was really genuine, but sometimes that is a security that we are not guaranteed. Among the decisions I put in place was to cultivate in my family great bonds of friendship, making my sister, my cousins and my daughter my best friends, I must confess that I feel immensely grateful to the Universe for the empathy and synchronicity that was generated between us.

In the photograph that I share with you, I go out with my daughter, I must confess that she is my best friend, when I got pregnant I was very young, perhaps that is why they tell us that we look like sisters. I always give my daughter a perfume on the day of friendship and love since it is what she loves the most and it is a beautiful way for her to remember me, through the aroma on her skin.

Another gift that I like to give is to invite her to have a snack or lunch with one of her favorite foods, which is Arabic food. We enjoy that moment to the fullest because we always accompany it with funny anecdotes and conversations that leave us with beautiful reflections.

My daughter gives me what I enjoy the most is a handwritten letter where she writes her happiest memories during her childhood or adolescence, it is very comforting to read it through her and not evoke it through my memory. Another of the gifts that I always receive on that special day is a diary, since for years I have loved writing some reflections that help me to my personal enrichment and on occasions it has served me as therapy and learning.

Buenas noches a todas las mujeres de esta maravillosa comunidad, espero que hayan pasado un día genial... Hoy, comparto con ustedes mi entrada al concurso correspondiente para esta semana. El 14 de febrero celebramos el día del amor y la amistad, es una día en el dedicamos toda nuestra energía para convertirlo en un recuerdo inolvidable, disfrutando de una velada muy especial, en donde agradecemos a través de regalos y gestos la compañía de esa persona que ocupa un lugar especial en nuestro corazón.

Dentro de unos días será San Valentín. La mayor parte del marketing de ese día se centra en las parejas, pero no debemos olvidar que también se celebra el Día de la Amistad. ¿Tienes algún amigo especial con el que te gustaría celebrarlo? ¿Qué os gustaría hacer juntos? ¿Qué le regalarías a esa persona?

A lo largo de mi vida he tenido muy buenas amigas, con las que compartí no solamente lazos de amistad sino de vínculos familiares, ya que mis mejores amigas las conocí a través de mis primos. Tuve la buena suerte de disfrutar de esa bonita amistad mientras duró la relación de noviazgo con mis primos, algunas duraron años y otras fueron pocos meses, fue realmente extraño, porque fue como si el amor y la amistad estuvieran unidas por un cordón umbilical y en el punto final de la relación estaba incluida el fin de la amistad. Después de esa experiencia que se repitió durante muchos años, tomé la decisión de no aferrarme tanto hasta estar segura de que el sentimiento fuera realmente genuino, pero en ocasiones esa es una seguridad que no tenemos garantizada. Entre las decisiones que puse en marcha fue cultivar en mi familia grandes lazos de amistad, convirtiendo a mi hermana, mis primas y mi hija en mis mejores amigas, debo confesar que me siento inmensamente agradecida con el Universo por la empatía y la sincronía que se generó entre nosotras.

En la fotografía que comparto con ustedes salgo con mi hija, debo confesar que es mi mejor amiga, cuando quedé embarazada era muy joven, quizás por eso nos dicen que parecemos hermanas. A mi hija siempre le regalo en el día de la amistad y el amor un perfume ya que es lo que más a ella le encanta y es una hermosa forma en que ella me recuerde, a través del aroma en su piel.

Otro regalo que me gusta hacer es invitarla a merendar o almorzar una de sus comidas favoritas que es la comida árabe, ese momento lo disfrutamos al máximo porque siempre lo acompañamos de divertidas anécdotas y conversaciones que nos dejan hermosas reflexiones.

Mi hija me regala lo que yo más disfruto, que es una carta escrita a mano en donde escribe sus recuerdos más felices durante su niñez o adolescencia, es muy reconfortante leerlo a través de ella y no evocarlo a través de mi memoria. Otros de los regalos que siempre recibo en ese día tan especial es un diario, ya que desde hace años me encanta escribir algunas reflexiones que me ayudan en mi enriquecimiento personal y en ocasiones me ha servido como terapia y aprendizaje.
