Weekend-Engagement/Week 151: One single photo

Good morning hivers, I wish you a great Saturday... Today, I am very happy to be able to participate again in the fantastic weekend challenges proposed by our friend @galenkp. Among all the options I selected the one referring to a single photo, I hope you enjoy my appreciation and experience that surrounds the photograph I will share with you.

One single photo: Take one single photo, not more than one, in your city/town/village/location of something you think is beautiful and that you might think we will also. The photo must be one you took yourself! Remember, focus on beauty, not just any old shit.

The apartment where I live has two balconies, one facing the main avenue and the other facing the garden, this photo that I share with you you can appreciate the view to the garden and you can see a little of the avenue that surrounds the building. I will share with you my experience with this place and the environment that surrounds it, I hope that through my writing you can travel with me through time past and present.

I will give a title to this short story, I will call it: From my window... I have been able to enjoy this beautiful view since I was 5 years old, I remember that there was a rocking chair on the balcony and my grandparents would sit me on their legs while we enjoyed the rocking chair's swaying and we could observe the colors of the sunset, which seen from above is much more appreciated!

The soil of this garden is very fertile, since the garden has been maintained with this beautiful green and fluffy, there are different types of trees, some have remained in bloom during the 12 months of the year. My favorite tree is the one with white flowers, this flower is very exotic because its petals are similar to a bunch of grapes and its smell is very tasty, if I had to describe it, it is the most similar to the perfume of jasmine and orange blossom.

During my childhood I used to play jumping the white painted stones and I built an imaginary theater with my dolls, this garden has always been the meeting point for all the neighbors, many birthdays have been celebrated here and there is no need to ask if you can attend because everyone we are welcome. At Christmas all the trees are decorated with garlands and they hold a small fair with typical Christmas dishes, where each family provides a homemade meal, in this way between people who were strangers it was possible to build bonds of friendship and brotherhood that have been maintained over time.

The nights are really beautiful since the sky is always starry and the flashes of the lanterns that illuminate the entire garden are confused with the light emitted by the moon.

We have the privilege that the area where these buildings are located is quiet, since it is far from vehicular pollution, it is on a closed street. The walks are very pleasant, since if you go out to exercise in the afternoon you don't feel the thermal sensation of the sun, since there are countless trees throughout the avenue that provide a very pleasant and refreshing shade.

In the photo you cannot see the square that is a few meters away, where there is a small church and a playground, where children and the elderly have a space where they can recreate daily. I often visit this square, to enjoy watching the children play, remembering when the slide and the swings were my favorite attraction. I also enjoy seeing the elderly, imagining that when I reach that age I will be able to have this beautiful place to remember the wonderful environment where I grew up and I was happy knowing that it was!
