The theme "Moonshine" reminds me of my early childhood days. During these times, at night, the children in the compound gather together for fun play. We sat down on the bare ground and played different types of games that were apt for that moment.

I remember playing some games but I don't think they have names. We only know and call them by the songs we sing while playing them. For instance:

"There's Fire on the Mountain, run run run, a big Big fire", "Willie Willie Willie... Change your style," "After Round One Original panadol extra..." 😅 "Who is in the garden?" and Hide and Seek (Boju boju).

Aside games we also cracked jokes, told ourselves dry stories and we created fictional characters as well.

I grew up in Lagos (city), not in the village. So we didn't have the privilege of listening to wise sayings from old men or women. Instead, we were looking for places to watch those Mexican series: Passion, 2nd Chance (Paloma and Diego) and the Gardener's Daughter, among others.

My childhood was awesome, and I played well!

However, I won't be choosing any song from my childhood days, rather I'll choose the song Talking to the Moon by Bruno Mars.

Talking to the Moon speaks a lot about a "failed relationship"; one that has left a "hole" in the heart of the singer. He cannot get over his loss and he is drowning in loneliness. He hopes she feels the same way and he tries to communicate this with her through talking to the moon; still with hopes that she reciprocates this.

While the Moon created a perfect environment for funplay (based on my childhood story), it has become a means of communication for Bruno Mars, and for Ware Wolves, Full Moon is a Festival for them (don't blame me, I watch lots of movies...lol).

This implies the multiple use and awesomeness of the moon. And referring on its awesomeness one will be necessarily drawn to reflect on its Creator (God).

Happy Sunday to you all!

**LYRICS OF TALKING TO THE MOON 🌚 🌙 **

I know you're somewhere out there
Somewhere far away
I want you back, I want you back
My neighbors think I'm crazy
But they don't understand
You're all I had, you're all I had

At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself

Talking to the moon
Tryna get to you
In hopes you're on the other side talking to me, too
Or am I a fool who sits alone talking to the moon?
