RE: THE POWER OF UNITY

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

The analogy of the broom is a perfect example and it speaks so much about unity.

Being united in heart and mind for a certain goal, make such group powerful and strong. In fact, it isn't easy to infiltrate such groups to make them weak. That's why people resort to the idea of divide and rule if they want to penetrate such groups... in other words, divide the group so you can rule them. Albeit, when they are united, they are not easy to rule.

Well, honestly, I may not be quick to use that bible passage as it somehow implies the notion that God doesn't appreciate the unity of man. However, also including the reason for that action may be a good way to reduce such thoughts.

Yeah, when men are united there won't be need for a ruler, but then man always want to be in control and that is why there is always one division or another.

Well, it's true that some may think that God does not appreciate unity but then when you take time to read the Bible passage you will understand that they had a plan that was up to no good and that was why God had to scatter them.

They were united yes but the power they had, they were using it for something that they shouldn't and that was why God took it away from them. I had to put in the Bible passage because the stone was not mine, so it was like the source, hehe.

Thank you for the observation by the way, that's why it's a good thing to ask questions and not assume, for others who might read the meaning that God doesn't appreciate unity, I'm sure they will also react to it just like you did and that way I will be able to explain more.
