30 minutes ago (3:40am), I had my regular routine checks on #Leo-threads to look out for some great #threads which may be of interest to me; musical, comedy or art related contents, or just to see what’s happening on the threads.

At some point, I felt the need to create a post with one of the titles: “What you are missing on Leo-threads” or “What You can do with Leo-Threads” or “Why haven’t you started threading?”

While I was pondering on which of the titles to use and the shape/logic I intend to follow if I chose any of the topics, I came across a thread by @acidyo _{(permission to use the tag? Permission granted; thank you! 😁)} that gave me a perfect plan and idea for this post.

You know what this means right?

Using Threads to advertise your Hive Posts could earn you some Poshtoken and Hive rewards.

Na! I don't think So. Let me explain better in a way everyone can easily understand.

For those hearing of "POSH" for the first time, (coughs) we aren't talking about a brand of Beer or Whisky.

POSH is a great initiative on Hive which you need to jump on if you haven't started using it.

Yea! Like I always say; Hive is wide and you cannot exhaust all there is to know about Hive.

POSH means Proof Of SHare.

It is an initiative that gives incentives when you share your post or advertise on Twitter (using the hashtag #hive). So, while you spread the word about Hive on Twitter to attract your Twitter followers, you get Posh and Hive rewards for doing so.

Sounds fun and interesting right?

Let's take this as an example:

I made a Splinterlands post and I copied the link from peakd.com frontend and posted it on Twitter.

I added the tag #Hive and other tags _{(our focus is on the #hive tag)} before "Tweeting my Tweet on Tweeter." _{(Threading my Thread on Threader Leo-Threads)... just for fun please don't tell Khal.}

After I posted my Tweet on Twitter, POSH automatically discovered my Tweet on Twitter and commented on my post on Hive.

I believe you have seen something like this on people's post right? Yea! That is POSH!

Here are some things you need to know about this:

☆ After post payout you will get poshtokens: I think the higher the engagement on the Tweet, the higher the poshtoken reward (I hope this is accurate since it is based on my observations so far).

☆ If you look beneath the post, it reads:

The rewards earned on this comment will go directly to the people sharing this post on Twitter as long as they are registered with @poshtoken

This implies that when that poshtoken's comment on your post receives upvotes, rather than the Hive reward of the comment to go to poshtoken, it comes to your account instead.

So you have this as the Poshtoken reward for the tweet after payout (7 days).

And you have this for the Hive reward based on the upvotes given on the comment of poshtoken on your post after payout (7 days)

NB: This does not mean that you should upvote poshtoken comment on your own post. You can support others by upvoting the poshtoken comment on their post, just like what acidyo has been doing for a while.

Thus, the plan is to attract people to this "Twitter-killer" or "Twitter-Superior" (Threads) to experience a new world of microblogging.
