Finalizado el ATP Masters de Canadá en sus dos modalidades, se generaron gratas sorpresas con resultados poco esperados, con los triunfos de la rumana Simona Halep (retomando la senda del triunfo) e ingresando nuevamente el top ten femenino; y el del español Pablo Carreño Busta, un jugador que pasó a la calladita por cada fase del torneo, hasta abrirse paso hacia la gran final. De mi parte, fue un gran descuido no haber intuido, lo que estaba logrando el asturiano en su mejor semana en lo que va de año.
