Este lunes 20 de junio fue una fecha muy especial en mi casa, porque es el cumpleaños número 10 de mi hijo Keny David; Debo comentarles que fue un día de emociones encontradas, por la reciente pérdida de su tío preferido, quien descansó en la paz del Señor hace un mes. El repentino fallecimiento de mi cuñado fue un golpe muy fuerte para todos, en especial para mis hijos, por el hecho que fue un tío ejemplar que siempre estaba pendiente de sus sobrinos; por eso mi chamo se levantó un poco desanimado.

Meanwhile, I was at home waiting for the signal to go with the cake, quesillo and soft drinks. And so it was, when my wife called me, I set off for school with the precious package.

The children thought I was at work and seeing me arrive at school with the cake caused them unparalleled excitement, my son's face lit up with positive energy and happiness. Seeing that his closest friends were with him, increased the surprise of the moment for my son; he has cried a lot for his absent uncle, who on every birthday was the one who first called him on the phone to congratulate him. Today we did the spring singing in a different and unexpected scenario and the objective was achieved; after leaving the school we went down to a well-known downtown place to eat a delicious roast chicken and talk about the impressions of the recent celebration.

Me sentí regocijado al lograr hacer sonreír a mis hijos y demostrarles que, a pesar de todo la vida continúa; y debemos disfrutar de los momentos que pasamos juntos en familia. Al llegar a casa nos dispusimos a tomar un merecido descanso, dado que el ajetreo previo y la caminata al salir, mermó un poco nuestras energías. Resultó una experiencia muy especial y el resultado nos demostró que no importa dónde celebremos, lo que realmente importa es que estemos juntos y unidos como familia.
