Fungi Lovers - Mushrooms hiding under cocoa leaves

I and my younger brother went to the fields this afternoon. In crossing a small paret I saw a small mushroom that part of its body was visible on the surface, it looks like they were peeking at me :) they turned out to be very crowded when I picked up the leaves.

Instantly I opened my small bag and took out my android equipment and macro lens to shoot some photos. They are so cool, and their name Coprinellus disseminatus

marvelous! these also may look like awesome when they wilted (i.e. dried keeping their shape) but probably this can never happen in the rain season weather. cheers!

Actually now in our area it has not rained for several weeks. But they still look fresh, maybe because they live under the leaves so the soil is still moist :)

(Edited)

I bet they do not last long. A burst grow (due to the rains) - and then a momentary decay. Only a brief weather's caprise (sudden hot weather without no rain) may help to dry and preserve them for a little extra time of being. Cheers!

may be true as you say, my knowledge of mushrooms is still very layman. I will study it further and am very happy if one day I know all the mushroom species and about them. Thanks!
