Get away in Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental

Greetings Friends!

I have been away for quite sometime and during that time I was able to travel in some part of Mindanao. It is actually my first time visiting here. I did not expect it to be so beautiful.
I just want to share this paradise located in Misamis Occidental, Sapang Dalaga.

Sapang Dalaga is a 5th class municipality in the province of Misamis Occidental.
It is located 96 kilometres from Ozamiz City (around 2hrs travel time)

Here are the things to do in Sapang Dalaga:

  • Caluya Shrine

    It is one of the tourist attractions in the province.
    There's a replica of of Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer. A 45-feet high, huge statue of Jesus Christ, which is known as Christ the Redeemer, standing up on top of a hill.

  • Sapang Dalaga Floating Playground

    This is really great place for family bonding or team building. unfortunately we did not bring extra clothes for swimming. I did not expect to have such amazing waterpark in a remote area.

  • Floating Cottage


A lot of tourist would come here to Soak and indulge in vitamin sea while having their lunch. we did have our lunch in one of the cottages. unfortunately I was not able to take pictures of the food.

Next time I will have to take more photos in our trip.
