I agree that we are going to experience an economic reset, likely in the very near future. Whether or not it will play out as you have posited remains to be seen. That said, by hanging on to coins I get as change, collecting nickels and <1982 pennies (for the copper), and stacking silver and gold, I feel as though I am fairly well-positioned if the reset is as you predict.
I believe that for the reset to go as you suggest, the balance of power in this country must shift back towards the people, because the elites who really run the show are planning the reset as a CBDC.

The Central Bank Owners have their Plans and "We the People" have our Plans... I smiled when you wrote about your Nickels and pre-1982 Pennies... Believe it or not, on he "other side" of the Reset, it will take "less" than 5 of our Copper Coated Zinc Pennies to obtain One Pound of Copper... Trust me... More than likely, we'll be returning to the use of our Copper Pennies... People will probably want to collect the Copper Coated Zinc Pennies at that point...lol...
