Spicy food from hell

Okay, quick question, how many of you love spicy foods? I mean, very spicy food that will make an average human yell out "There is too much pepper in this food!"?

Well, I don't know about you but I do and I actually take pride in it. In my family, only me and my mom love spicy food and I guess it's one of the attributes I got from her (probably the only attribute!). I always brag about how I love spicy food to anybody I come across and I never miss a chance to flex.

"Is it this food you say has too much pepper? This is nothing, I can finish the whole thing without drinking water", that's what I usually say when someone complains about spicy food.

Because of this, I'm usually restricted from cooking whenever I'm home with my family because everyone keeps saying I will finish off the whole family one day with pepper and I always reply to them with "You people are just weak".

One day, I was in one of my friend's rooms which was just opposite mine. After some minutes, he came out from the kitchen and asked if I would eat spaghetti. "Who says no to food? Bring it here, I am ready to devour it", I replied him.

"But there's one problem o", he also replied. ("Ah, problem ke?", I was thinking to myself). "eh, what is the problem? I asked.

He then went on to explain that the food is very spicy because while trying to add some pepper to the food, he mistakenly jerked forward, and over half of the pepper in the container poured into the food.

"oh, the problem is too much pepper? You have nothing to worry about, you forget I am the king of pepper? I am the national chairman of Pepper dem gang", I replied with so much confidence.

He went ahead to dish a small portion for himself and his roommate and gave me a large portion, seeing as I am the only one who loves spicy food.

I was very excited by the size of the food because it meant I didn't have to cook later on, dinner had been taken care of for that night. I quickly dug into the food and my tongue almost fell off. "What is this?", I muttered.

My friend looked at me and asked if there was any problem. "of course not, I was just surprised that the food isn't as spicy as I thought", I said while giving a fake smile but deep inside, I was under severe pain.

I took another forkful of spaghetti and again there it was; the same knife-like sensation on my tongue. "so I didn't imagine it, this will be tough", I said to myself.

Halfway through the spaghetti from hell, I was already sweating profusely, with tears running down my face but it wasn't tears from crying over pain, but pepper-induced tears that were flowing freely. "Please you guys should put on the fan", I said to my friend.

They both burst out laughing, "but the fan is already on, are you sure everything is OK", he replied. "So this is what hell feels like", I thought to myself. After a while, I told them that I was already too full and I will just take the rest to my room and eat it the next day.

I didn't even wait for him to say anything as I hurriedly left his room while he and his roommate were laughing like maniacs. I got to my room and immediately threw the food into the bin, I don't think that thing even qualifies as food.

I usually give my leftovers to my neighbor's dog (April) but I didn't dare bring that abomination to her, she will bite off my hand and hate me for the rest of her life after tasting it. I don't know what went wrong in my friend's kitchen but that thing he cooked had been to hell.
