Writing Prompt: over the edge

The financial status of the company was over the edge and the company was at the point of going bankrupt. That was how our elder boy lost his job and came back home.

He was almost the breadwinner of the family supporting our dad but unfortunately we had the sad news where he was no longer working no more so he was at home. He stayed a few months without getting a new job offer. He laid his hands on so many things in order to support the family.

My father had to call him and tell him that he should take a rest, that he had tried, that he was going to get a job. He never relented, he wanted to make sure that we were alright and wanted to take care of all of us.

After so many months of looking for a job, he finally landed a better job through the contract. It was the recognition of one of my father's friends and now we are happy that he got a job and he was also willing to support us back.

We love our brother so much. He has really been of help to all of us in our family and my dad is also proud of him.
