Garbage Pail Kids Nifty Kids were released about three weeks ago. The Nifty Kids collection is a generative 1/1 NFT collection that were randomly generated from traits based on the iconic Garbage Pail Kids collection. There were 10,000 packs each containing 1 Nifty Kid and the sale went on for 48 hours. There was an error with minting that caused the first 1000 or so to have traits that didn't match the avatar generated. I was lucky enough to get one of them. A couple days later, RareDrop allowed users to fix their error NFT if they want to. I chose not to because I believe the Error ones are the most rare. They also airdropped a free pack to holders of Error NFTs so I still have 1 unopened pack. I'm diamond hands on that bad boy. I'm not selling. The rest of the unsold packs are being burned.

Play to Earn Game

Holding a Nifty Kid NFT gets you access to their private Discord. I've been seeing a few hints as to what they're doing and I love it. Normally, a collection of 1/1 NFTs come out and that's it. There's nothing you can do with them aside from make them your profile picture and maybe resell eventually. RareDrop is doing it different. They are building a Play to Earn game based on the Nifty Kids collection bringing even more utility to these NFTs! You'll be able to send your Nifty Kids on missions to earn and you'll also be able earn NFTs to customize them. These I assume will be in the form of different accessories that you can use in the game. There will also be time-based events which is always fun.

Someone in the discord mentioned about staking their Nifty Kids to earn crypto, and one of the team members said "soon". I love this. NFT staking needs to be more widely used. He also hinted that the game will show rarities and reward for collecting certain patterns, or attributes. Fuckin sick. More details will start being released next week. I love announcements of announcements.

When asking about rarity or if a certain combo is good, the team member gave another hint. 4 of the matching attributes is a "keeper" for the upcoming game. Sadly neither of my Nifty Kids have that many matching traits. Hopefully they won't be shitty lol. I asked if Error NFTs will have any special abilities or advantages in game but I haven't gotten a response yet.
