The war begins now

I've been waiting for this day for what feels like a decade. R-Planet's MMO game called Conquest went live in closed alpha today for 1000 lucky users. I was lucky enough to win a ticket, and I fully plan on being one of the 100 last me standing in the war. We have 4 days to build our bases and prepare for an all out fight to the death. I woke up early and got started around 7am because I was so excited. This game has been under development for 2 years if I'm not mistaken and I finally get a chance to play. I immediately fired up the game on my phone, because it is mobile only. It's much better on a tablet too.

Upon logging in with a Google or Apple account, you pick a Faction, a region, and then you're launched right into your base. It's time to build. I got some serious StarCraft vibes from the look and feel of it. Obviously it is not that advnanced, but for a game that is only in closed alpha - it runs great. It feels like a game I could sit and play for hours on my tablet. Hell, I'm sure it will work fine in BlueStacks on desktop but I haven't gotten around to trying that out yet.

I went Renegades because they sound bad ass.

I chose the Southeast region because... Well, it seemed like a good idea based on the amount of players on it at the time.

Then it was time to click shit! Touch all the things, figure out how to build shit. There's no guide or tips, you just figure it out. Simple strategy so far - focus on building Mines first for your 4 resources. If you have any robot packs to import, you are going to need a metric shit ton of WECANITE so focus on upgrading those mines first. I learned the hard way. You can also import your land NFTs if you own them in the Terrarium.

Different land give different mining boosts, and is proportional to the level of the land. You can also import your robot packs which takes about 3 hours to happen. In the mean time, focus on resources. I'm also building up defenses like Shields and more robots. The bottom line is - i need way more resources to get prepared and these robots constantly consume WECANITE.

As you can see, the interface is a little smushed on my pixel 6 pro. But on my 8 inch samsung tablet, it feels awesome. I'm currently waiting to mine more resources so I can upgrade my WECANITE mines since I have so many robots consuming it. This is going to be very addictive.

Anyway - I just wanted to share some shots from the game. It's very very early stages and will definitely improve over time. The first thing I notice when playing is the lack of background music. If it had some like eerie space vibe ambient sound, it would be perfect. It just needs something so you're not sitting in silence. I can not wait for the war to begin. Watch out if you're playing, 0xNifty is coming for you. All your base R belong 2 me.
