RadioShack DeFi - What the Actual F....

Just when I thought Degen December was starting to cool down into the holidays... Man this one really got me. RadioShack... yes, the dead company RadioShack has been bought by none other than Tai Lopez. Why? "To bring crypto to the older generations". Ok, Hold on... How though?! Let's dive into this disaster.

RadioShack DeFi

So as I said, RadioShack was purchased by the infamous Tai Lopez and being sort of revived from the dead. Who is Tai Lopez? He describes himself as a "mentor" and sells courses where he teaches you how to be rich (Spoiler alert: his stupid over priced videos won't help you be rich lol). That's pretty much it. He's an absolute giga-chad that flexes his Lambos and talks about how he reads a book a day. He also buys dead companies for fun. These are some of the dead companies he's purchased.

Seeing RadioShack on the same list of dead companies he's purchased alongside Dress Barn and Stein Mart kinda hurts... I remember way back in the day when RadioShack was the hottest shit. You could get literally anything electronic there. So after being purchased by our lord and savior Tai, RadioShack is launching a Decentralized Finance platform and... you guessed it! A token! It's called the RADIO token of course... As stated in the article RadioShack is launching a crypto market for the "older generation".

RadioShack insists that it’s uniquely positioned to take cryptocurrency mainstream — claiming that “RadioShack, and RadioShack alone, can bridge the gap and ‘cross the chasm’ of mainstream usage for cryptocurrency.”

Literally even companies that are still relevant have yet to bridge the gap of mainstream crypto usage. It doesn't come down to just one company, sorry RadioShack. Your shitty DeFi platform and shitcoin aren't gunna be the one to make it happen.

So what's this new platform gunna look like and what's it built on?

I know you're thinking... Phill, where are the docs? Did you look at the docs? Of course I did and they're right here. Don't worry fam, I got you. I'll save you the trouble of looking for some actual valuable information in the docs because let's face it. There's almost none. Just a bunch of buzz words and shit. It details how RadioShack's swap platform will run on Atlas USV, which is another company own by... you guessed it again! Tai Lopez. So RadioShack, owned by Tai Lopez, launches a swap service backed by Atlas USV, owned by Tai Lopez. So that means the USV treasury is owned by our boy as well. Not sounding very decentralized, huh? That's because it isn't. They try to inspire confidence by saying it's all backed by Atlas USV, but to me it smells like a scam. Tai has too much stake.

Maybe USV is legit, I dunno... I would personally not touch it with a 10 foot pole. You probably shouldn't either, but I'm just a dude on the internet so you know... You do you. Even after digging into the RadioShack DeFi docs, and checking out Atlas USV... I have no fucking clue how any of this nonsense is supposed to bring crypto to the older generation. You think some old boomer that's never touched crypto is gunna be like... "finally! a company I'm familiar with are doing this crypto stuff so I should too!"? Nah bro. I don't think that's how it's gunna go down. Literally the whole idea here is to use the RadioShack name to try and rope older people into sketchy and risky cryptocurrencies. I dunno though, like I said... I'm just a dude on the internet.

What are your thoughts? Are your loins aching for RADIO token?

lemme know.

I think you are mostly right about this :D

I don't think Tai would do a rugpull aka being shady, since it would hurt his online persona, which I think he values (dno honestly) xD

I don't think he would either. But one of his shell companies might. I dunno though, just an observation lol

No good can come from any project with Tai Lopez at the helm.

Also, if I can find my old battery club card, can I trade it for tokens?
