En esta oportunidad estoy con ustedes para compartirles la reseña de la novela "A orillas del rio Piedra me senté y llore",el cual tuve la oportunidad de leer recientemente y aunque al principio estuve un poco confundida en la lectura a medida que avance conseguí entenderla,y los acontecimientos de la misma se me hicieron muy interesantes.

"A orillas del rio Piedra me senté y llore",es una novela escrita por Paulo Coelho donde se relata la historia de una pareja que se conocen desde la infancia y luego se reencuentran para vivir su amor,su protagonista es Pilar de 29 años,quien vivía en Soria y se muda a Zaragoza donde se dedica a estudiar en la universidad y a trabajar convirtiéndose en una joven independiente y fuerte,que no se deja llevar por sus sentimientos.
"On the banks of the Piedra River I sat down and cried", is a novel written by Paulo Coelho which tells the story of a couple who have known each other since childhood and then meet again to live their love, its protagonist is Pilar, 29 years old, who lived in Soria and moved to Zaragoza where she dedicated herself to studying at the university and working, becoming an independent and strong young woman, who is not carried away by her feelings.
El amado de Pilar se muda de la ciudad para abrirse caminos,,sin embargo cada cierto tiempo,le envía a Pilar una carta,que luego se van haciendo mas continuas;hasta que en una de ella la invita asistir a un seminario en Francia y ella toma la decision de asistir,es allí donde se reencuentran y siguen su viaje Bilbao;para ella este viaje fue algo diferente,emocionante,se sintió viva,capaz de interactuar con otros,de disfrutar la vida,de compartir cosas que desde hace mucho tiempo había dejado atrás.

La mayor sorpresa de Pilar fue enterarse que su amado poseía el don de la curación y había encontrado en la religión un refugio,para huir de sus conflictos internos,durante el viaje por los Pirineos Franceses su compañero le declara su amor y Pilar se sumerge en una contradicción con ella misma donde debe decidir si seguir su vida o el amor,y decide aceptar a su amado,compartir con el su afán por curar,servir al prójimo,aliviar a los enfermos a través de la espiritualidad y la veneración a la madre Inmaculada Concepción.

Durante todo su viaje visitaron lugares hermosos,vistos por primera ves y otros conocidos en su infancia,poco a poco van consolidando su amor,pero siempre estuvo presente la parte religiosa,la meditación,alabanzas y momentos impresionantes cuando el amado de Pilar entraba en trance para curar a las personas.

Al final Pilar descansa varios días en un monasterio y a orillas del rio Piedra se sienta,llora y sonríe de todo lo que ha vivido;allí ambos se juran amor eterno demostrándose el gran afecto que sienten el uno para el otro, deciden seguir sus sueños juntos y a través de la religión, que seria el medio para cumplir con la misión que la madre concepción le había asignado.

Mi opinión personal es que es una novela que presenta un lenguaje muy religioso,haciendo alusión a la parte femenina de Dios;la poesía también se hace presente,pudiéndose observar poemas y frases mágicas;en relación a la pareja de amantes ambos luchan con su otro yo para poder decidir si estar juntos o no;resaltando que las relaciones humanas,los sentimientos y la vida vale la pena vivirla y sentir el verdadero amor,esta novela es un ejemplo de que a pesar de la distancia y los obstáculos y amor sobrevive; solo hay que tener fortaleza para luchar por ese gran sentimiento.
My personal opinion is that it is a novel that presents a very religious language, alluding to the feminine part of God; poetry is also present, being able to observe poems and magical phrases; in relation to the couple of lovers, both fight with their other me to be able to decide whether to be together or not; emphasizing that human relationships, feelings and life are worth living and feeling true love, this novel is an example that despite distance and obstacles and love survives; you just have to have the strength to fight for that great feeling.

A orillas de un río me senté a leer es este libro, no lloré con la historia de amor que cuenta el autor. Fue una época en que quería leer todo lo que publicara Coelho, pero paré a tiempo; solo logré leer 6 de sus libros. Paré porque descubrí a Aura o las violetas, de José María Vargas Vila; Aura, de Carlos Fuentes; El túnel, de Sábato, y otras obras que abordaban el tema del amor con otro enfoque y no pude volver a Coelho. Puedo decir que este autor me ayudó a consolidar mi hábito lector.
