Fan Art of the Healer of Light, wonderful Apotheosic Goddess of Holozing. She is without a doubt my favorite ✨.
I was a little busy these days, there was a lot of movement creating an online store and I had not had the will at the end of the day. Not to write, but in my free moments I was able to draw a Fan Art that took me several hours to create. It is a Fan Art of the Healer of Light, wonderful Apotheosic Goddess of Holozing. She is without a doubt my favorite.
I love the color palette she has, the smile and the white outfit that she is made of is so striking. I was drawing and painting a little every night before going to sleep. I usually like to watch a bit of my childhood cartoons before going to sleep, so I would turn on the TV to listen to "Tooncast" while I drew. Just to listen, I don't know how people do who say they do something while watching TV, I honestly admire them, because as far as I'm concerned I can't.
I listened and placed my attention on the drawing, one of the phases that took me the most time was the sketch. The more I clarified the details I wanted from the character, the more time I invested. I wanted to establish a clear direction, so I did my best there. There were lines that I repeated several times, as well as later restructured some that I had already believed were "ok." Especially in the hands, haha to achieve harmony in them, I had to recreate the pose several times with my own hands and thus replicate them.
Another of the stations I dedicated myself to was the details station. The shadows to simulate gold were in 3 grade color, although I still feel that I need to improve it. That detail process reminded me of the Illustrator trick, there is only one brass section and that's it, Voilá...And I'm doing everything manually, haha. I almost felt something thinking that it was something I could fix there, but I put that laziness aside and better practice the process. It will help me work better with colors and their composition.
Let's quickly see the Drawing process:
To draw I used my tablet, pencil and Medibang Paint as a drawing program. I started with a quick sketch and then moved on to a more defined one. I did the sketching process in about 2 or 3 parts, in addition to cleaning. When I reached the point of sketching that I was satisfied with, I moved on to laying down the base colors taking reference from the original art of the Healer of Light. In some details I varied the "yellow" a little, due to the amount of details on the clothing and because I wanted it to be quite decorated. When I finished the base colors, I went on to give details, shadows and lights. I played several times with different backgrounds, so I could think or imagine how I wanted the ending. However, disappointed, I opted for something out of the ordinary, with a contrasting color in blue. Let's see the process:

Here the final result:
I loved the result, consider that one of the cutest characters is the Healer of Light, she will surely be the first one I will acquire when the game is released!
