This is a contest from our community to you, women empowering each other both on the blockchain and in Discord! A place we love and where Hive is alive. If you haven't joined our discord yet, an invite can be found by clicking on the first banner under this post!

We want everyone in the LadiesOfHive community to succeed! We have seen some members, however, failing to properly cite the sources for images used in posts. This can cause trouble for your accounts, our community, and the Hive blockchain as a whole. Please review the following information and ask if there are any questions!

You can use any image PROVIDED THAT it is not copyrighted, and is free-for-use in a post. Your entry will be disqualified if you use a copyrighted image or a watermarked image. Plenty of free-to-use images can be found on these sites:

● https://LifeOfPix.com
● https://Pexels.com
● https://Pixabay.com
● https://Unsplash.com

Even using images from sites such as these, though, it is a good idea to cite that the image is "free-for-use from Pixabay," or perhaps even give credit to the photographer (even though the site may say no such credit is necessary). Giving credit for the image will help to keep your account spotless and will help the photographer with more traffic to their page! If you took the photos, it's a good idea to say: "Photos by me" somewhere in your post!

At the bottom of every LadiesOfHive contest is credit to the photo that appears at the top:

Make sure you read over the rules again, and bear in mind the importance of sourcing your images or quotes, and may the greatest imagination win.

Seven suggestions (reminders) to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner
  3. The Master Password and the Owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

If noone tells me I do a thing wrong, then how would I know right?

Only time I say... NO
Is if someone give criticisms that says... Damn your head is to BIG for your body 😂 Hahahaha

I agree! Critism is a good thing unless someone is coming at you with malice. My issue is that I take everything personal to a level that is unhealthy. I am a people pleaser. I've learned to take all advice and censure with a grain of salt. Good Luck Hive Lady!

Thank you Saffisara :) I learned to like criticisms too and try to learn from them because we can't see our own flaws unless someone points them out :)

Darn, I won't let this go too, lol! I mean I can't change it even if how many times someone tells me my head is too damn big LOL!

Criticism from others can be hard to take as sometimes it's honest and sometimes, it's because of jealously or a dislike for the person that's being criticized. It will be interesting to see how the ladies respond to this.

Things we do for fun? Well, I believe we don't do them nearly enough! It will be fun to see what everyone does and maybe get some new inspiration for ourselves! Great questions, @ifarmgirl!

A woman is the beauty of a society l, without a woman nothing is beautiful in the world and our home is like the graveyard.
