A visit to a village but this got my mind the big mortar and pestle used in the olden days to grind palm fruit.

So happy to be back here. I saw something few weeks ago that really drag my mind back some days back I visited a village in my state so on entering the compound I saw something very impressive and this drag my mind back to years I was in the village. A lot of development today and new life style in the city has made a lot of people forget about old life. And am very if you ask this generation about things in the farm 65% if 70 will not know because a lot of them are growing up in the city some of them their parents do not take to the village this some times make me to jump into conclusions that this present generation has miss a lot.
I remember me using this particular method in producing palm oil not today that technology has taken over the system and they introduced machines that can take care of everything from the cutting and separation of the palm fruit to the cooking and grinding and even press machines that help in getting the oil so everything now is easy so this make palm oil production very simple and easy now a days. This is why especially this part of the world really appreciate technology because it has ease a lot of stress no more old way of processing palm oil.
So when I visited this village I was so shocked to see that some people are still using the old methods of processing palm oil when I thought that modern way has taken over the whole land. So I couldn't hesitate to get hold of the big mortar and the long pestle the memories just come upon me like a fresh water so here I am

Thank you to my friend for taking me to her village to get hold of this particular mortar and pestle that is quite long I see it so since learning and traveling is part of being I just decided to share this post here for those that where not aware of the old way of palm oil production.
I remembered when we use to palm, palm fruit with this you can imagine using this to palm a full pot of palm fruit thanks to modern life that has made the production of palm oil very easy.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess.
