Hit & Reflected

Hello Splinters, I'm Lagnarok and Welcome to my Weekly Battle Mage Secret. Today Faction War is scheduled, and the fight between Death and Water Faction has been fixed. The Splinterlands God's decision to make Faction War more interesting, and they decided to put absurd rulesets.

Cabalist's Lore

When High Magus Obin Invaras betrayed the great council and joined with Silus, it split the order in two and caused a rift that might never mend. Obin cast out the temporal masters loyal to the council and the Splinterlands, banishing them from the Temple of Time. Those that sided with the High Magus became known as anachronous cabalists. These cabalists expanded their studies to find new and diabolical means to bend time to their will. They can be a great boon on the fields of battle. However, they are incredibly vulnerable when working their magic, and a dead wizard is useless to anyone.

The battle happened in a Wild Gold League in a ranked match. The battle rulesets detail are."Wands Out," "Fog of War," "Counterspell," with 59 mana caps. While we can only use Magic-type monsters, what makes this battle hilarious is that every magic will be reflected its dealer.

Battle Preparation & Strategy

NameLv 2Ability
Mimosa NightshadeLv 3-1 Range, Void, Affliction
Pricmatic EnergyLv 5Magic Reflect, Void
Phantom SoldierLv 5Flying, Silence, Void
Elven MysticLv 4Silence
CabalistLv 6Amplify, Giant Killer, Demoralize
Spirit HoarderLv 2Triage, Dispel
Venari BonesmithLv 6Life Leech, Poison

I decided to use Mimosa Nightshade since the magic will be reflected in its dealer with Void Buff from Mimosa Nightshade. So with Void Buff from Mimosa Nightshade, at least when the magic reflected to me, it could reduce the impact, so my monsters could live a little longer. And the key point is Spirit Hoader's Triage ability which keeps maintaining my monster's hit point.

Did my Strategy Work?

Yes, My strategy works perfectly as my mental simulation. The key points in my strategy are Amplify, Void, and Triage, which make my lineup sustainable enough till the end of the battle.

Note: I tried to change my writing style from a long and tedious version to a shorter and more descriptive one. I hope. You can enjoy it.
