Ladies of Hive Community Contest #62 - Do you like to travel during the holidays, or stay close to home?

hello everyone who enjoys traveling.
Tell me where have you been this year?
I belive, almost everyone enjoys traveling, but where to go depends on the circumstances of each individual. For example, many individuals work all day, all month throughout their extended vacations. They can only travel on major holidays with extensive days off; meanwhile, someone who is self-employed or works online has complete control over their schedule and can travel whenever they want, at any moment.

1️⃣ Do you like to travel during the holidays, or stay close to home?
For either answer, please tell us why!

In my condition, I prefer to travel close to home.

I like many other young people, work every day and only take vacations on weekends and exceptional occasions. I spend the majority of my time with my large family, and we both frequently visit our parents these days. The family reunited, ate pleasantly, inquired about each other's health, life, and job, stayed at home for grandparents to play with my kid, then we returned to the city to work after the holidays. Weekends are my favorite times to travel.
When I was single, I used to go to bustling, crowded areas, climb passes, and wade streams wherever it was rated positively, but now that I have little children, I want to travel to a site that is suitable for children: in terms of journey time, mode of transportation, and surroundings....
Travel time: I live and work in Da Nang, a popular tourist destination in Vietnam, so there are many places to visit nearby; travel time is about 30 minites -1 hour. The places I usually visit are Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue. Travel time is short, it takes a few hours by car to arrive; sometimes the entire family will take a bus or train to get a better experience.
Going on weekends will be less busy than going on holidays and the service and cost experience will be more acceptable and comfortable. Traveling on weekends allows us to take more trip per year.
Our family frequently visits Hoi An old town for a weekend getaway because it is only 30 kilometers from my home, there are many lovely resource hotels, tranquil, poetic scenery, and plenty of good food, and our children are watch lanterns, run about on the walking street,

Or simply on weekends, we will gather with a group of close friends at a hotel near Da Nang beach for the children to run and play, play sand castles, and we will drink coffee on the beach and watch the waves crashing.

Confiding, sharing my pleasures and sorrows with my friends, and witnessing the joy and excitement of children when they are exposed to new things make me happy.
Traveling near my house does not take too much energy for going out, so at the beginning of the week, I am still full of energy to study and work.
I believe that traveling on weekends or holidays depends on the individual's circumstances; the ultimate goal is to alleviate weariness and tension following a series of working, studying, and life events.
Christmas time is here once again, and it is time again to bring in the New Year. I wish the merriest of Christmas to you and your loved ones, and I wish you happiness and prosperity in the year ahead.
