Today is a niece's birthday, it just so happens that her birthday is the day before my son's. We wanted to surprise her at her house. We wanted to give her a surprise at her house, last week she went through some difficult days, her mother got sick and was hospitalized on emergency for a heart attack, now she is at home recovering and my niece has been very depressed, tired and attending to her mother, to give her a turn to her life we decided to visit her and bring some ponqués, to celebrate her birthday and accompany her for a while, I think she really needs us to get her hand, to release a little stress.

Ingredients:

  • 300 grams of flour
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 100 c.c. of milk
  • 100 c.c. of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla or lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • ½ cup grated coconut

Preparation:

Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy; then add the milk, flour, oil, baking powder and finally the vanilla or lemon zest.

We mix everything very well, when it is very creamy, we proceed to pour it into the cake pans.

We can also set aside part of the mixture and add the grated coconut and make two flavors, according to the taste of the guests.

Ponquecitos

Hoy es el cumpleaños de una sobrina, casualidad que su cumpleaños es un día antes del cumpleaños de mi hijo. Quisimos darle una sorpresa en su casa, Ella la semana pasada paso por unos días difíciles, su mamá se le enfermo y la hospitalizaron de emergencia por un Accidente Cardiovascular, ahora ya está en casa recuperándose y mi sobrina ha estado muy deprimida, cansada y atendiendo a su mama, para darle un vuelco a su vida decidimos visitarla y llevarles unos ponqués, para celebrar su cumpleaños y acompañarla un rato, creo le hace mucha falta que le metamos la mano, para que libere un poco de stress.

Ingredientes:

  • 300 gramos de harina
  • 200 gramos de azúcar
  • 100 c.c. de leche
  • 100 c.c. de aceite
  • 1cucharada de vainilla o ralladura de limón
  • 1cucharada de polvo de hornear
  • ½ taza de coco rallado

Preparación:

Batir los huevos con el azúcar, hasta que este cremoso; luego vamos incorporando la leche, la harina, el aceite, el polvo de hornear y por último la vainilla o la ralladura del limón.

Mezclamos todo muy bien, cuando este bien cremosa, procedemos a vaciar en los moldes para ponqués.

También podemos apartar parte de la mezcla y le agregamos el coco rallado y realizamos dos sabores, al gusto de los comensales.
