For my part, I am pleased to say that every day I feel more enthusiastic and fortunate to be a member of this beloved and loving art community, where I have always been showered with praise, motivating me to achieve the goals I have set for myself over the years, and especially this year. One of those goals was to take on many knitting projects to continue improving my crochet techniques.
Today's project is about decorating hair clips with crocheted flowers, using a crochet stitch that I love to do. It is very easy to do and has been very popular with girls to complement their beauty accessories. Puff stitch crochet is an eye-catching stitch with a beautiful volume in the shape of the stitch, making it ideal for a number of easy projects with admirable beauty.

Por mi parte es grato decir, que cada día me siento más entusiasmada y afortunada de ser miembro de esta querida y amorosa comunidad de arte, donde siempre me han lazado flores y con ello me he motivado alcanzar las metas que me he propuesto hacer, desde años pasados, y especialmente este año, una de ellas fue proponerme hacer muchos proyectos tejidos para seguir mejorando las técnicas de los puntos en crochet.
El proyecto de hoy se trata de la decoración de unas pinzas para adornar el cabello, con flores tejidas, utilizando un punto de crochet que me encanta hacer, es muy sencillo de hacer, y se ha visto muy apreciado por las niñas para complementar sus accesorios de belleza, el tejido con punto puff es un tejido llamativo con un hermoso volumen en la forma del punto lo que lo hace ser un punto ideal para una cantidad de proyectos fáciles y con una belleza admirable.

To start knitting, I selected some basic materials such as wool yarn, scissors, perforated hair clips, a crochet hook, a hand sewing needle, fine cotton thread that I added later, and most importantly, the motivation to knit.
With clear ideas in mind, I knitted a 5-point ring for each of the flowers I had in mind to make, then I made the loops, which totaled 8 loops for each petal.
Para comenzar a tejer seleccioné algunos materiales principales como hilos de lana de estambre, tijera, pinzas perforadas para cabello, aguja de crochet, aguja de coser a mano, hilos finos de algodón que adicione después, y lo más importante la motivación para tejer.
Con las ideas claras tejí un anillo de 5 puntos para cada una de las flores que tenía en mente hacer, después realice las lazadas, que en total fueron 8 lazadas por cada pétalo.
I crocheted four flowers of the same size and two slightly smaller flowers, for a total of six flowers, three for each clip. To make the smaller flowers, I simply decreased the chain between the petals to make them smaller.
When you have finished crocheting, decorate the center of the flowers with double strands of wool using a large-eyed needle. For each flower, leave a few extra strands of yarn at the back to attach the flowers to the clips through the holes in the clips.
Tejí 4 flores del mismo tamaño, y 2 flores un poco más pequeñas, el total de flores es de 6 flores, 3 para cada pinza, para hacer las flores más pequeñas solo disminuí la cadena que va entre pétalos para hacerlas más reducidas.
Cuando termine de tejer decore el centro de las flores con hilos dobles de lana, en una aguja de ojo amplio, y por cada flor deje unas hebras de hilo de más por la parte posterior, para fijar las flores en las pinzas por los orificios que traen las pinzas.
I tried to tie the threads of the flowers to the holes in the clips, but it didn't work because the flowers were unstable, they kept falling to the sides, and it didn't look good.
I went to my threads, took a hand sewing needle, and began to sew the flowers through the holes in the clips. It was the best option, so I sewed each of the flowers from the center with threads that matched the color in the center.
Intentando anudar los hilos de las flores en los orificios de las pinzas, no me resulto, debido a que las flores quedaban inestables se iban de lados y el aspecto era estetico.
Me fui a mis hilos, tome una aguja de coser a mano y comencé a coser las flores por los orificios de las pinzas, fue la mejor opción, así que desde el centro de la flor cosí cada una de las flores con hilos del color que tenían en el centro.
One of the things I also wanted to mention with today's initiative was something I discovered, something that previously didn't turn out the way I saw it in the tutorials, and that is that I have always seen this type of flower with more volume than my flowers had. So, thinking about and visualizing the flowers, I realized that the side with that volume is on the reverse side of the flower fabric. The difference is really significant. It was for me, and I hope that if you put it into practice, it will be for you too.
Una de las cosas que también les quería comentar con esta iniciativa de hoy, fue algo que descubrí, algo que anteriormente no me salía como lo veía en los tutoriales, y es que este tipo de flores siempre las he visto con más volumen, del que me quedaba en mis flores, así que pensando y visualizando las flores, me di cuenta de que el lado donde tiene ese volumen, está del lado del revés del tejido de la flor, realmente la diferencia es significativa, lo fue para mí y espero que si lo ponen en práctica lo sea para ustedes.
