That is the title I had given to my very first video I had made with Blender more than a year ago.

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing fine. Thank you very much for your continued support:)

When I started learning Blender during my free time in the pandemic, I was first amazed that such a software was free! I was next amazed that so many tutorials out there on YouTube were all free. A huge thanks to Blender Guru (quite literally) for inspiring millions to get into the world of 3D. When you are done with your 3D donut following his tutorial, you feel you can do anything and are limited only by your imagination. That is the case and most people are also limited by time available to them too.

Coming back to the video. When I was looking at other people's work with Blender, I saw a short clip where a cube, just the default cube, was made to move around in space and it looked as if the cube was displaying emotions.

I wanted to do something similar and challenged myself to tell a short story using as simple shapes as possible. I had not started using external textures anyway, so this was all done in Blender. I found that it could be done, all within blender, using mostly primitive shapes with some edits.

I wanted to choose a good background score and the very moment I listened to Those Restless Nights, I knew that this was exactly what I was looking for. The song matched the mood of what I wanted to tell so perfectly well and the ending of the song synchronised wonderfully with the ending of my little animation.

What is the story that I wanted to tell? I hope you watch the video below and find out. Do let me know if you liked it (or not). Thank you for stopping by, see you in the next one!
