Les cuento que el 1ero de Enero visite una finca apartada de la ciudad, con una amplia vista despejada perfecta para disfrutar de su hermoso paisaje y clima. No se necesita de mucho solo buena comida y buena compañía, es suficiente para pasar un día increíble. Sin duda un plan perfecto.
On January 1st I visited a farm far away from the city, with a wide open view, perfect to enjoy its beautiful landscape and climate. You don't need much, just good food and good company, it's enough to spend an incredible day. Undoubtedly a perfect plan.
Esta finca es de los padres de mi amiga yo he ido en varias oportunidades y cada vez que me invitan no lo dudo dos veces para empacar e irme. 😂 Estuve algo desconectada del celular, porque allá no hay señal telefónica.
This farm belongs to my friend's parents, I have been there several times and every time they invite me I don't hesitate twice to pack my bags and go. I was a bit disconnected from my cell phone, because there is no phone signal there.
Pude observar que habían nuevos miembros en los corrales y establos, vacas, cerdos, gallinas y pavos en la casa de campo.
I could see that there were new members in the corrals and stables, cows, pigs, chickens and turkeys in the farmhouse.
Aquí les muestro a los cerditos, los cuales están separados por edades, al pavo y a blanco el toro.
Here I show you the piglets, which are separated by age, the turkey and white the bull.
¿A ustedes les suena Paella en una finca? Pues nosotros hicimos posible esta combinación entre el mar y el llano. Durante la estadía en la finca, disfrutamos de una deliciosa Paella, unos de mis platos favoritos.
Does Paella on a farm sound familiar to you? Well, we made this combination between the sea and the plain possible. During our stay at the finca, we enjoyed a delicious Paella, one of my favorite dishes.
Observando como el hermano de mi Amiga la preparaba me enseñó algunos trucos cómo; sofreír todas las especias antes de colocar las carnes para que suelten todos sus sabores en el aceite.
Observing how my friend's brother prepared it, he taught me some tricks; frying all the spices before placing the meats so that they release all their flavors in the oil.
El caldo fue el agua de los mariscos y también se utilizó un arroz italiano especial para Paella. Igualmente, las conchas de mar, camarones, calamares en ruedas, mejillones, cangrejos, langostinos y vieras. Fueron cocinando todos los mariscos y esa misma agua es el caldo que se usó para nuestro arroz a la marinera.
The broth was the water from the seafood and a special Italian rice for Paella was also used. Likewise, the seashells, shrimps, squid, mussels, crabs, prawns and scallops. They were cooking all the seafood and that same water is the broth that was used for our arroz a la marinera.
Es un platillo muy colorido comenzando por el color del arroz y siguiendo con los vegetales que usamos para adornarla. Los mariscos son de mis comidas favoritas.
is a very colorful dish starting with the color of the rice and continuing with the vegetables we use to garnish it. Seafood is one of my favorite foods.
Al día siguiente nos invitaron a una finca vecina muy hermosa, donde pasamos un rato muy agradable ya que disfrutamos mucho, comimos carne y hallaquitas de chicharrón y bebimos "sangría" para pasar la tarde.
next day we were invited to a very beautiful neighboring farm, where we had a very nice time, we ate meat and "hallaquitas de chicharrón" and drank "sangria" to pass the afternoon.
En la noche nos provocó meternos en la piscina (había una piscina grande, una pequeña y un jacuzzi) también usamos el tobogán. Sin embargo, ya era tarde la ubicación de la finca queda en lo alto de la montaña y estaba haciendo mucho frío y decidimos salir del agua.
The evening we were provoked to get in the pool (there was a large pool, a small pool and a jacuzzi) and we also used the water slide. However, it was already late, the location of the finca is high up in the mountains and it was getting very cold so we decided to get out of the water.
Cabe destacar que no me lleve el teléfono a la piscina, mi amiga no quería fotos al salir del agua, pero si me tomé unas yo luego de cambiarme el traje de baño y vestirme.
It is worth mentioning that I didn't take my phone with me to the pool, my friend didn't want to take pictures when I got out of the water, but I did take some after changing my swimsuit and getting dressed.
De vuelta a la ciudad y yo súper emocionada de mostrarles todo lo que viví en esos días especiales. Sin más que decir, para este nuevo año que nada te detenga de cumplir tus metas en los 365 días que vienen.💙
