Down into Darkness.

I carried a fallen soldier's body to unleash against enemy lines, directly targeting a Hiss cluster. After surviving a surprise heavy enemy attack, I pushed forward, descended through a volatile elevator, fought off lingering corrupted forces, and finally navigated toward the Ordinary AWE sector in search of the Prime Candidate program.

I dragged the lifeless body of a fallen guard across the cold floor, using telekinesis to hoist the weight as a brutal projectile. And I threw him toward a Hiss soldier who died right away.

The Hiss cluster pulsed against the concrete structure, corrupting everything in its radius. I attacked it straight into the center of the anomaly, shattered its outer defense in a single burst, and I destroyed it.

Before I could clear the area, the massive enemy materialized out of the red mist. The sheer force of its attack shattered my momentum, forcing me to fall back into cover. I retreated into my comfort zone and attacked the enemies from there.

Using launch abilities from behind cover, I repeatedly struck the targets with heavy fragments of stone until it finally collapsed. Smaller hostiles rushed the room to reinforce their fallen leader, but they proved far easier to handle.

I moved through a twisted, distorted hallway where the architecture seemed carved by an unnatural force. Passing a lower stairwell, I spotted an emergency shelter built into the wall.

Further down the corridor, I encountered a large investigation board covered in photographs, notes, and files. The documents detailed Jesse Faden’s history alongside references to Dylan Faden, marking both of them as potential prime candidates.

The path ahead grew increasingly unstable. As I crossed a wide catwalk, a fresh wave of Hiss guards spotted me and opened fire. One of them charged directly at me, attempting a desperate melee strike.

With the hallway cleared, I located a heavy service elevator leading further down into the depths of the AWE sector. The doors slid open, revealing a floating Hiss explorer hovering inside the tight space.

I reacted instantly, dashing backward out of the frame just as the entity exploded into a cloud of red dust and debris.

Once the elevator settled at the lower floor, the doors parted to reveal a deeply corrupted chamber. Red light washed over the walls, and the oppressive humming sound returned. I moved quietly, checking corners and scanning for Hiss clusters.

Suddenly, a swarm of corrupted agents rushed my position from all sides. The crossfire was intense, nearly tearing through my health, but I held my ground.

Exhausted but alive, I stepped onto the elevator shaft platform, just to survive them as I needed health crystals badly that I left on the floor above.
