LBI earnings and holding REPORT - #11

By golly, we have done it again. Dont ask me how but again we scrape though another week to earn just over a thousand LEO. I have no idea how we keep getting away with this, every week something saves us from dropping under 1000 LEO weather that be a double contract_tokens pay out day are a bump in LEO or HIVE content earnings. Anyways, we earned 1028 LEO this account, 514 LEO has been sent to @lbi-funding and the rest sits idle as liquid LEO waiting for CUB finance.

Earnings

Leo and HIVE content earnings last week totalled 257 & 59 LEO. Last weeks percentages were 24% and 6%. Curation rewards are down from last weeks 728 LEO in earnings but we have to consider that more users are joining the platform and more content is being uploaded so the reward pool is shared among more people. With that said, i dont see a day any time soon when curation rewards for LBI are not its single biggest earner week in, week out.

Total earnings to date are 12,219.28 LEO's. Say what??.... Yep, $7,722 worth of internet monies. I can't wait till we get into CUB finance, we will earn many more LEO monies from the internet and smash through the 50,000 LEO earned mark in under a year from launch easy.

Again, we just scraped over 1000 LEO this again. As bLEO and CUB are rolled out, we will see what effect this has on weekly earnings depending on what is paid out. Eg, CUB finance LP's payout CUB, we compound that but if CUB finance LP's payout LEO, that's earnings.

An easy way to remember the difference between what counts as LBI earnings and what it does not is If it's based on HIVE, it's earnings and if it's off-platform its investment were gains are compounded.

Holdings

Well, nothing has changed this week. We had expected to be involved with the wLEO LP by now but bLEO might offer us a better place with the geyser rewards for that. The balance snapshot that was taken a few days back for CUB finance will show we had a powered-up balance of 226,672 LEO, this will mean we should be one of the best receivers of the airdrop which is awesome. This should be good for LeoFinance as they will know we are very unlucky to dump these tokens.

Hopefully next week, we will have something extra added to this.

A new colour!! Yes, this week we have a small tiny blue slice that represents the 4600 liquid LEO we have in wallets. Again, hopefully next this blue slice will be replaced with a bLEO slice :)

Steady as she/he goes week in, week out. I can't just say "she" anymore, its sexist. You knew the toy Mr Potato Head is now called Potato Head cause its non sexiest. I remember they had a Mrs Potato Head. Never mind, week in, week out we seem to be able to grow the LBI token price by 0.005 LEO. At this pace without considering all the new projects and opportunities coming, in around 8 weeks time the LBI token will hit 1.10 LEO in real value and that means the LBI token price will have to be increased again. Take that info as you please.

Round up

Another week has passed, many announcements have been made, projects releases have been held back and a lot of guessing and predictions are floating around the platform and discord. COME ON already, just give us CUB finance, after we get this, we'll have something to play with for a few months until the project blank and the LEO sidechain is released. It's like waiting for Xmas when I was just a lad. I can see my new PS2 wrapped up under the tree, its been sitting there tempting me for weeks and I have to wait. I hope Xmas day is not put off again. lol

All I can say is another solid week and that is all that is required whilst we are all waiting patiently for all the new toys. 10 percent growth in value is really good for such a short time frame. Thanks again for doing this.

Not sure how the whole DeFi, bLEO, CUB, Geyser, Smart Chain thing works but I am really looking forward to giving it a try and hoping for the best. It is also nice to know I have a small share of what LBI will be able to do in the same environment should I fail miserably. ;)

Looks like a consistent week. I am not surprised that the curation earnings dropped because LBI is holding it liquid for the new pool. I plan to change out some of my LEO when it pays out to get an even 50 LBI before Monday.

Also is it possible that the LEO exchange rates will change for LBI after CUB is announced and we decide to enter one of the new pools? If it does, will we have a warning as to when this will happen?

Not speaking officially but there is no reason to change the rate unless the value of LBI jumps considerably.

The entire premise of raising the price is to stop arbitrate situations during the sale. In the past, with SPI, we had a value of 1.15, say, yet was selling for 1.05. People were buying at 1.05 and selling on S-E for 1.10. We also saw some of the reverse also.

As with all price changes, there will be warning. At this point, I think the plan is to keep it in place for at least the month of March. If the value explodes, that might be rethought but since we are a week in, I feel safe in guessing it will hold true for this month.

That's nice to know. I thought that the CUB airdrop might make the underlying value of LBI explode and thus cause the price to increase. If we are given a warning, then at least I can stock up on some LBI before it changes.

It certainly could. Since we really dont know the details, hard to surmise what will happen.

That said, little tends to be done in terms of price increases without some warning.

Here we are at the end of the first week in March, so it will be another week before we get the earnings report. That is week two.

If things are exploding over the first couple weeks with CUB, we can also change to a new price come the first part of April.

Great to see the earnings hold up. We are pushing things as we can. What comes in is what comes in. We can only keep making the effort.

We have CUB on the agenda in a couple days. However, we are also likely to see blank in the month of March unless there is another delay with that. That will be based upon Leo Power and wLEO holdings. I wonder if it will be expanded to include bLEO also.

Either way, LBI will do fine with that drop also. Since it is based upon LP, we are one of the largest holders.

That is a token we can curate to increase our earnings with. If that can pop out another 15%-20% APR, we will be doing very well.

Agreed, we are on the right path.

These first couple of months has built up a good foundation of LEOPOWER and we know which token holders are active within LBI and which are not.

I have the next few days off work after today so i'll have the time and hopefully get in around launch time.

Leo Finance doesn't do Christmas they do Tease-mas :P Maybe they should roll out a tease token that they have to buy from us every time they announce an announcement

I can see my new PS2 wrapped up under the tree, its been sitting there tempting me for weeks and I have to wait.

Except that this PS2 is not a money sink, that requires more and more investments in form of CDs with some data on it. Instead it increases your money. That is a much more interesting game!

Nice Job! I would say that the 8 weeks timeframe to LBI hit the 1.10 mark is going to be drastically reduced... After CUB and next (lost pace of the updates) project airdrop/claimdrop/sophisticatedrop happens, the price of the overall stash will suffer a big jump overnight, so I'm basically projecting LBI reaching a valuation of 1.10 LEO by the end of the month.

Awesome. I have finally started buying some LBI. Not much yet, but hope to add to it day by day. Targeting around 1000 by August. I love passive income and you all (I guess "we all" now) are set for growth. Keep it up!

By the looks of these weekly reports, investing in LBI Token seems lucrative. Can you please clarify on how to invest in LBI? Do I need to buy the token and hold it for periodic returns? Or is there more...Sorry for bothering you with lots of questions. I am new here!

Just send 1.1 LEO to the @lbi-token account for each LBI you want. The tokens will be sent to your Hive engine wallet within 24 hours (they are manually done).

Right now, there are no dividend payouts as voted by the LBI tokens holders. The community felt it was better to build up the stake we had to provide bigger returns in the future.

When payouts do happen, they will take place weekly and no you dont have to do anything other than collect them. Of course supporting the community is helpful.

Getting in 2 months on about 10% ROI would translate somewhere to 60% if we would keep the current growth rate. For some reason I expect better times to come with all LEO Finance releases so this looks like a smart investment for the LBI holders.
