Buttery And Creamy Oil Pastels Haiya Paul Rubens, Another And Final Birthday Gift

Hello, how are you? Yesterday one of my gifts got delivered, and you see me unboxing it and swatching it. Today~ another and final gift got delivered. You know what it is? Yeah, you’re right: another oil pastel, but this time another brand too, one that got me curious about what it feels like drawing in a lipstick texture but just a little bit harder.

The brand is Paul Rubens, and when I tell you I am lucky this month, yes, I am. Mind you, I bought it at half the original price LOL. At that time, I was contemplating whether I was going to buy it or not because that shop has no reviews with photos and video, but only 2 or 3 5-star reviews. So I took a very risky decision, but I know inside of me that this is my lucky month, so I took it hahaha.

It has been years since the last time I ordered on the online shopping platform because the UI is not friendly at all. It’s all confusing. But I gave them another chance, and I think they did change their UI, and I think they improved a lot. They did update me every time, and it got delivered late in the afternoon around 4 pm. I was so excited.

It got delivered late in the afternoon, and I was surprised that it got packed securely in a box without reminding them to pack it that way, which is 5 stars for me.

The box of the oil pastel is not damaged at all, which I am so happy about, but what is most important to me is that the oil pastel is not damaged at all. So I got the Haiya Paul Rubens 72-color set, just like my other Mungyo.

As always, it came with a booklet of info about the oil pastels.

And what I like about PR is that they give you a swatching paper, because I am sucks at making swatching paper LOL.

It has a foam cover to protect the oil pastels.

Here is the close-up look at the oil pastels. It looks like lipstick, and what I like about it is that it has a pointed tip.

Took me a few minutes, because some color got switched or just the swatching paper in order is wrong LOL.

I leave some space for me to blend it later. I love how vibrant the colors look.

Some of the oil pastels have some greasy oil coming out of them, and based on some video reviews I watched, they said it is normal. It is not an issue for me. I just wipe it with tissue and done LOL. But I am surprised that only a little of it got oily, but some of the reviews I watch it completely soaked all of the oil pastels hahaha.

I like this shade of red, and one thing is that it is so hard to read the name and info of the paper that is wrapped around the oil pastels.

Ohhh, that's a lot, but yk, when I read the first two wwords "buttery and creamy" I though you'll be talking about food HAHAHA. Anyways u seems so satisfied with what u got there. And u get a lot of colors too.
