Handmade Clay Keychain Chili Gloom

Hello, how are you? I’ve been loving spicy food lately, especially with soup, and now that the rainy season is starting, a couple of soup dishes are a good thing to eat at dinner.
So yeah, I’ve been thinking what Gloom I am going to make, and I think red chili is the best idea, and I did it. The weather is so gloomy today, so this is the perfect time to make a clay.
Materials I Used:
- Polymer Clay
- Weighing Scale
- Needle Tool
- White Paper
- Dotting Tool
- Clay Hole Cutter
- X- Acto Knife
- Soft Pastels
- Brush
- Eyepin
- Oven
- Acrylic Paint
- Mica Powder
- Toothpick
- Pliers
- Keychain
Craft Time!
First thing to do is to condition the clay and then weigh it to my desired size.
And then I shape it into a ball, and then sculpt it into a chili shape.
And then I added a hole in the middle using the metal ball, and then I added texture using the needle tool.
For the head of the chili, I use this green. I sculpt it on paper because my glass sheet won't fit on my mom's desk, LOL.
I shaped it like this, and then using the needle tool, I added texture to it.
When I'm pretty satisfied with what I added above the chili.
Set aside the chili, time to make Gloom, at the first clay I condition it first and weigh it.
Shape it until the texture of the clay is smooth without any creases, and then shape it into a head shape.
And then I put the head onto the hole I made for the head of Gloom, and then I added a map to where I am going to add the eyes.
Using this mini clay cutter, I cut the part of the face like eyes, eyebrows, and nose.
The first thing I add is the eyes.
And the eyebrows.
I shape the nose into a triangle, put it on the face, and then, using the X-Acto Knife, I cut below it enough to shape it like a heart.
Then I roll a thin line in the same color I use, and then, using the X-ACTO Knife, put it on one by one.
Using soft pastels and a brush, I added the blush.
Then I added the screw eyepin.
Then bake the clay in the oven according to the packaging instructions. While the clay is baking, I experiment the some thing like mixing acrylic and mica powder to make a shiny thing LOL.
Let the clay cool off first, and then I added the paint using a toothpick.
And then I added the keychain to the eyepin.
Then lock it using the pliers.
This is what it looks like.

Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
