Heart Gloom Handmade Clay Keychain

Hello, how are you? This clay I am going to show you is the first version of Heart Gloom I made and I first posted the second version I made hehe I made a little experiment on this first version and I made a little mistake but it is okay, there is place for improving right LOL.
Materials I Used:
- Polymer Clay
- Weighing Scale
- Needle Tool
- White Paper
- Dotting Tool
- Clay Hole Cutter
- X- Acto Knife
- Metal Ball
- UV Resin
- UV Lamp
- Nail Polish Brush
- Disposable Gloves
- Mask
- Acrylic Stamping Block
- Soft Pastels
- Brush
- Eyepin
- Oven
- Pliers
- Keychain
Craft Time!
First, I condition the clay until the texture is soft enough to work with.
Weigh it and shape it into a heart it is okay if it is not perfectly shaped that’s the way I made it.
Using the back of brush I made a dent in the middle, this place where I am going to add Gloom’s head is. I set it aside for later.
For the head of Gloom, I am going to use skin tone and then I condition and shape it.
Shape it into a head.
And then I place the head into the heart that I made dent is.
Using my dotting tool. I made a map for reference where I am going to add the eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips.
I like to have the change just a little it so I used a lighter blue as a eye color.
And then for the eyebrows I used the general color I used. Placed it one by one.
For the nose, I used light pink and then shape it into a triangle and placed in onto the face. And then using X-Acto Knife I cut the bottom part to make a heart shape nose.
For the lips, I roll a thin line clay and then cut it and place it using X-Acto Knife.
For the blush I use soft pastel and brush I apply the blush both cheeks and nose.
To add texture like veins I used light pink needle tool to add those.
Then I added the eyepin. After that I baked the clay and then before proceeding to the next step I let the clay cool off first.
I decided to add a veins on the texture I made by using soft pastels and UV Resin and then I apply it using toothpick. And then cure it under UV Lamp.
To make the charm glossy and more stronger I added UV Resin and then I apply evenly using nail polish brush.
And cure it under UV Lamp for a few minutes or until it is not sticky anymore.
I put in the jumpring into the eyepin.
Then I lock it using two pliers.
I hope you like it! :
