I Draw Tomatoes In Oil Pastels. I Really Like The Result

Hello, how are you? I feel the heat exhaustion draining my life out, LOL. I am really manifesting my mom buying air conditioners, and I think it will happen sooner or later, hehehe.

All I can do for the whole day is to draw, yeah, draw early in the morning LOL, and the rest is me dying from the heat. So yeah, I like searching for what I am going to draw, and then one of them suggested me to draw tomatoes and I went for it.

Time To Draw!

Prepping all the things I will need in an easy-access place, and then I am going to use these green oil pastels to draw the line art.

Drew the reference in a shape, and then I started adding the base color of each tomato. I just like how the lower it gets, the greener the tomatoes get.

And then I added shades of orange to red and green to the drawing, it kinda looks flat and boring, but just bear with me, it will get better later LOL.

I am still undecided which color I am going to use for the background, so I just did the hatching method on it with different colors.

The drawing does not have enough darker shades, so I added some of them.

I decided to use a lot of color on the background, and I really like it, though.

For this part, I added an accent color to make it more distinctive.

Time to add texture and highlight, by doing it, I am going to use my clay tool as my scratching tool.

I like the galaxy color of the background.

---
