Recreating My Old Drawing From 9 Years Ago Pt.3

Hello, how are you? Yesterday I posted T.O.P from Big Bang, and today I am going to draw Sehun from EXO, one of my biases of EXO, the maknae and the main dancer and visual LOL, and he created the infamous word "YEHET" which I always use before, but I rarely use it now hehehe.

They have recently had a comeback, but sadly, they're not complete because of a company problem with another member, but they still slay the comeback.

So yeah, I am going to recreate the drawing using graphite and charcoal pencil that I did 9 years ago. hehe.

I don't know if it is the exact photo I researched was right LOL, so I just went for it. I first sketch shapes to make the proportions right.

And layer those sketches with the final line art.

I like to start by using powdered charcoal and a brush to fill the white paper with shadows, which makes it easier for me to see where the shadows of the drawing are.

This is what it looks like after adding powdered charcoal, not good to look at, but trust the process, and then after that I layer it with graphite pencil 9b the matte one.

And then I started to render the eyes, and after that, I did the rest by simultaneously using powdered charcoal, graphite, and charcoal pencil.

As you can see, it is lacking darker shades, so I did layer it more until I am satisfied with the render.

And then to add the highlight, I am going to use a retractable eraser, erase those part thea are highlighted.
