Saludos amigos de @hivemotors hoy deseo compartir una experiencia que viví y me pareció interesante compartir, mi trabajo es ser vigilante en una empresa y ya llevo cerca de dos años de experiencia y en este ámbito uno se acostumbra a observar el patrón de las personas y las cosas que están a nuestro alrededor, un día sin novedad es normal y cuando se reporta alguna novedad es porque algo se salió de su comportamiento normal.

Partiendo de allí les diré que estoy acostumbrado a hacer inspección a los camiones y estos tienen un sonido característico, mis oídos forman parte esencial en mi trabajo, todo patrón de ruido que se sale de la normalidad me pone alerta, pues así fue que detecte una falla instantáneamente.

From there I will tell you that I am used to inspect trucks and they have a characteristic sound, my ears are an essential part of my work, any noise pattern that is out of normality makes me alert, so I detected a fault instantly.

Dicen que los mirones son de palo, haciendo referencia a que si uno no conoce de un tema no opina, en mi caso no fue así, pues al inspeccionar un camión MITSUBISHI tipo chuto, que todo estuviera bien, cauchos completos, ningún choque o rayón en la latonería, vidrios en buen estado, herramientas completas, utensilios de seguridad e implementos varios (Kit de derrame, mecates, cuñas, candados, entre otros) note que una manguera tenía un sonido de escape de aire constante, para todos era normal, ya que el compresor está funcionando y se escuchan escapes de aire.

El chofer contó al supervisor que los cambios estaban difíciles de meter, había una falla en la caja, el mecánico recibió la notificación y estaba haciendo la inspección para bajar la caja, entonces allí dije yo al supervisor que una manguera sonaba como con un escape, revisaron entre muchas mangueras y efectivamente una tenía un pequeño agujero.

The driver told the supervisor that the gears were difficult to put in, there was a failure in the gearbox, the mechanic received the notification and was doing the inspection to lower the gearbox, then I told the supervisor that a hose sounded like an exhaust, they checked among many hoses and indeed one had a small hole.

Entonces determinaron que esa manguera era la que alimenta a el embrague, me cuentan que es muy difícil conseguir ese tipo de mangueras originales, ya que el fabricante se fue del país, por lo que debían improvisar para solucionar momentáneamente y le colocarían un parcho con una abrazadera. No es la solución ideal ya que muchas libras de presión pasan por ellas, pero es lo que pudieron hacer.

Les cuento que mis oídos se han entrenado desde hace muchos años para estar atentos a cualquier ruido fuera de lugar, trabaje en una empresa durante 18 años en la parte de producción, y cuando una maquina se salía de su ruido habitual, la inspeccionaba y allí determinaba el origen de la falla y reportaba al departamento encargado de las reparaciones preventivas, esto evitaba que hubiera paradas no programadas y se cumplía a cavalidad la producción estimada.

Con este post deseo es contarles que todo aprendizaje que tenemos a lo largo de la vida, nos es útil en algún momento, así que, si existe el oído musical, también existe el oído mecánico jajaja, gracias por leerme, espero sus comentarios.

I tell you that my ears have been trained for many years to be attentive to any noise out of place, I worked in a company for 18 years in the production part, and when a machine was out of its usual noise, I inspected it and there I determined the origin of the fault and reported to the department responsible for preventive repairs, this avoided unscheduled stops and the estimated production was met cavalidad.
