I walked out in the afternoon. I went to grass area where there are animals and insects. I was interested in the flying animal.

Capung

In Bahasa Indonesia, it is called "Capung" but in the Javanese language it is called " Kinjeng". Capung or a dragonfly, was part of the toys when I was a kid.
Childhood was a memory that I can not forget. I was raised in a small village where most people were farmers. Everyday, the rice fields and grass area were my playground. I did not have many toys. I played with nature.
Capung was an animal that I liked to play with. I liked to catch dragonflies. I put them in a big plastic bag. In green areas where the water was still clean, there were many kinds of dragonflies. Yet, in Bekasi, it is difficult to find various colors of capung. Most of the colors are the green and yellow ones.

What is capung called in your country?

I would like to know the name of this animal in your country. Asean countries have different languages. I hope you will give me the names of capung in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, and other Asian countries. I am sure that the name of capung is different in Aceh, Medan, West Java, and other provinces in Indonesia.
