Kampung means village, and Cina means China. Kampung Cina means "a Chinese village." It is a park that is designed to look like a Chinese town.

The location is Cileungsi Bogor , Indonesia. It is located in a high class housing - Harvest City. From my house, it is around 30 minutes by motorcycle.
Today, we rode two motorcycles. We were all going to the Festival Oriental or Kampung Cina.

Kampung Cina is a free tourist spot. We only need to pay the parking fee. A motorcycle costs 2,000 IDR, or $0.1, and a car is around 5,000 IDR, or $0.35.

What can you do in Kampung Cina ?

This is the entrance to Kampung Cina. There are some statues in front of the gate. A Chinese warrior and a lion statue stand on the right side of the gate. You can take some selfies there. LOL.

When we arrived, we parked in the parking space. After that, we went to the security check. The security officer asked me the covi..d pasport. I said we did not download the app. Then the security officer asked my wife. My wife gave the same answer as I said.
What did you think after that? The security gave us permission to enter Kampung Cina, though we did not show the vax passport.
In Indonesia, most public places , malls, and supermarkets require vaccine passports to enter, but in practice, those public places will let people enter the location without showing the vax passport. It is reasonable because the malls, supermarkets, or business centers that practice strict rules for vax passport requirements will lose customers.

After you enter the location, you will see some vendors that sell Chinese accessories and clothing. The red color is the dominant view.

At the location, you can see the Chinese Zodiac statues. I do not know much about the Chinese Zodiacs. Here are some of the photos.

The statue is in a rectangle of glass. There are also notes under the statue about the meaning of the Chinese Zodiac based on the statue.

After we passed through the Chinese village, we entered the green park. We enjoyed the fresh air and big trees here. My kids liked to play , climb trees, and run around the park.

We sat under a tree and enjoyed some snacks. There were many visitors this afternoon because it was the last school holiday.

We took a rest in a gazebo. The sunlight was very hot today. On the side of the gazebo, there was a small lake. There were also some duck boats that you could rent. Because of the hot day, there were only a few people who rode on the boat. Besides that, the lake looked like it was not well maintained.
In the location, you can order some food from some food stalls on the side exit gate.

On the right side of the exit gate, there are some food stalls that offer various menus, from Bakso to fried chicken. You can order the food and enjoy eating together in the park under the shady trees.
We spent the time playing in the park for about 1.5 hours. After my kids were tired from running around, we decided to go home.
