On top of the world for Photochain Challenge and POBphotocontest

This is my entry to @davidesimoncini's Photochain Challenge and to @friendlymoose' POBPhotocontest.

This was taken at Mt. Yangbew overlooking the rest of the town of La Trinidad and also the other mountain ranges of the Cordilleras particularly Benguet.

The first photo was taken right before lockdown and restrictions have been implemented. Good thing we were able to have a chance to climb the mountain. I like that shot better than the next one which was taken last month when me, my sister and niblings went back there for a hike.

The second photo was taken by my nephew so we can't get the same angle as the previous one because of different in height. My partner took the first photo who is way taller than my nephew.

That rock is jutting out at the edge of the mountain. It's probably about 30 meters to the bottom of it. That's why my niblings were scared to stand closer to the edge. I had to force them but reassured them that it is safe to where I made them stand. My other nephew is braver for he said to his brother to not look down.

I noticed that I was wearing the same joggers in both photos.

I don't know if you can see in the photos but there are greenhouses in the distance. Aside from vegetables, flowers are also one of the products that this region is known for. Now, more and more gardens are opening up as tourist spots but to get there, you need to have your own vehicle for public transport will not reach these gardens.
