Well that went well for both me and Norwich last night as a Sargent double and an own-goal helped Norwich to a 0-3 win!

More importantly, it lifted them out of the relegation zone at the expense of their opponents last night, Watford who still have 2 games in hand over them. Nevertheless, the psychological boost to the players and club must be immense and a huge spur for them to keep fighting for their survival.

Before we look at today's game, today will be a Quadruple bonus day. If Leeds win, I double the pot, if Man. U LOSE I double the pot. This is going to be a huge ask of Southampton, especially with Tino Livramento, Alex McCarthy and Will Smallbone all out injured. The good news though, is that Mohamed Elyounoussi and Theo Walcott are back after isolating due to covid-19.

Southampton are not having a bad season, but sit in 12th place on 24 points and will need something from this game with the middle of the table being so tightly bunched, no doubt after Leeds take apart Newcastle, they will be even lower in the table as their game kicks off!

Man City, what can you say. Sat clear at the top without a care in the world, you really can;t see them losing this. 12 out of 12 wins in their past 12 league games, they are looking unbeatable. If Southampton aren't on top of their game, it could be a cricket score!

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
