LOH CONTEST #101 // MY MOTHER IS THE DEFINITION OF RESILIENT TO ME

it is a beautiful day here and I say hello to you my dear people, it's great to join this week @ladiesofhive community contest and for this week I will like to answer question number two which is;

2️⃣ Let's talk about a resilient woman, it can be your friend, family member, co-worker, etc. What is her life challenge and what did she do to overcome the trial she faced?

if anybody ask me for the definition of resilient I will tell them to try and know my mom. She is a strong woman who have gone through a lot and different challenges of life.

Where will I start from, should I started from the story I was told that happen before I was born or what she face after giving birth to me, should I started from when she lost two of her children with unknown cause or when she gave birth to her last born, when we think that will be the end of her life, maybe I should start from there.

After loosing two children, my mom decided not to give birth anymore say we the remaining children is enough for her not knowing that sheis already pregnant. The pregnant that almost cost her her dear life. My mom was sick throughout her last pregnancy but at the end of the day she gave birth to twins one boy and one girl.

We think everything is over not knowing it was just the beginning, after two years of giving birth to the twins she fall sick again, this time it was really hard and that was year 2002. She was in pain and we went to different hospital with no improvement, but she never give up, it got to a point when my sister couldn't bear it again and doesn't know when she said if she die it is better than the pain she was going through, we all cry that day and my mom just smile and said this is just another phase of life and it will pass.

She started getting better after three years and that was year 2005 and we thank God for sparing her life for us. Truly any problem we are facing is another phase of our life and it's bound to pass.

In year 2011, one of my brother get sick and need an operation, my mom was running helter skelter to get money for his treatment and even sold many of her belongings, she will go to any length for her children and in 2020 she lost her husband but still she stay strong and holding on for us even though her health is not that strong but still trying to be strong for her children.
I have not done anything for her but I pray she will live longer so that she will enjoy the fruit of her labour.
