My Friend And Her Snake pet

Upon all the pet in he world, how can someone have a snake as a pet and not be scared of it. My favorite pet so far is cat because I get scared easily and cat is lovely for its gentle nature so I never imagine someone will have snake as pet in real life, I've only saw it in movies.

When I was chatting with a friend, she told me she have got a new pet and she was so sure I will like it when I see it. I asked her what her pet is but she said it's a surprise and I should wait till I see it.

I went to her house the following weekend to see the surprise my friend have for me but it is not a surprise, it is the shock of my life. When I got to her house, she took me to where she kept her so called precious pet and when I got the and saw a snake, I was so petrified that I ran out of the house before she could say jack.

Me that deserted the closest route to my work place for more than a month just because I saw a snake around the place and always took the long route and here someone is showing me snake pet. I can not even look at the snake twice because it will give me a nightmare.

I didn't go to her house ever since then and didn't call her, even if she call me i always rejected it. Who knows she might said she wanted to see me and come with her snake.

After two weeks of visiting her place, she called me one night around 9:30pm that she needs somewhere to sleep and I asked her if she was coming with her snake but her response makes me think something is wrong somewhere. She said "snake?? that is a long story to tell" and I told her to come over since I was the only one at home.

She came over before an hour but not alone, she came with her suitcase and I was speechless but I couldn't asked her anything. I told her to go and so that I can fix something for her to eat and after eating, I asked her what the problem is and she said it's her snake, it has go wild.

She said she was feeding it when she get a call, she went to pick her phone but when she got back to the snake's cage, she found it empty and that is when she remembered that she didn't lock the cage before she went to pick her phone. She searched for the snake and when she found it, it was not acting friendly at all and it's not like the pet she was keeping. She tried to tame it but to no avail so she doesn't know what it will do to her if she decided to sleep at home that is why she came over to my house and she's not going back until the snake is captured.

She wanted to take her nightie and when she opened her suitcase, she found the snake sleeping peacefully in the suitcase, she shouted and ran out of the room. I asked her what the problem is and told me that the snake is in her bag. I got scared and ran out of the house with her, now the snake is in my house, where are we going to sleep, have I not made a mistake for accepting her in my house. We stayed outside for like hour thinking about what to do because I can't go to her house, I'm scared and I can't sleep in the same house with a snake.

After contemplation for a while, we called our other friend and narrated everything to her, she laughed at us for a while before she asked us to come but we shouldn't take anything along except our phone and that is when we both go to her house and spend the night their. They helped is captured the snake the following morning and told us that the snake is harmless and but before I can sleep in that house took me a week and even at that, I can't sleep alone because my mind will be occupied with the thoughts snake and it took me a while to get over it and I hate her for that.
