¡Rutina!

Routine!

Intrinsic to our life experience, routine is like a walking companion that takes our hands every day to walk us through another cycle. A coffee, a transit, greetings and obligations, always present repetitively day after day. Everything becomes so automatic that the notion of time is confused and many times we wonder how it all happened so quickly, hours, days, weeks, months and years. The routine is a life experience in automatic mode, while I write and reflect I still cannot say if this is good or bad, for some it is definitely something important and allows us to practice other personal qualities such as discipline and commitment, however life and our time on earth is so precise that I wonder if it's really worth it in this routine... The routine is often an accomplice of the obligation, and both are references to the responsibility and the duties that accompany us from the beginning of life. So, would routine be a companion for life?

It is difficult to imagine a life without routine, our needs must be routine. Is it part of being human to adapt to a routine life? And what would life be like without routine? Doing things without an unusual and innovative way is certainly much more difficult and perhaps that is why we adapt so well to a routine. It seems to me that human beings are comfortable with routine. I particularly have difficulties producing when I don't have a scheduled routine guided by commitments and responsibilities. It's like an inertia or lack of commitment to a routine that from then on begins to take on other faces, often not as healthy as a routine of responsibilities.

But the curious thing is that it is very common to complain about the routine and want time, or break with it. The famous "break the routine", which can often be translated as "take a vacation", a break, take a trip, eat in a different place... perhaps the balance between routine and lack of commitment is ideal For a healthy life. . However, the vast majority of people cannot even afford to "take a vacation", unfortunately the life of the person in charge weighs much more on the disadvantaged who day after day become more hostages of routine work.

As I write, I believe that balance, as in most aspects of life, is essential in coping with routine. So try to cultivate the good traits that it brings, but also value having a moment outside of it and having other experiences beyond this routine cycle.
