Surtiéndome para unos lindos proyectos [Esp/Eng]
Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @needleworkmonday. Es un gusto visitarlos en este día hermoso. Tenía mucho tiempo que no pasaba por esta bonita comunidad, una de mis preferidas, y es que no es que no tenga material o contenido, es que tengo demasiado, pero lo he estado haciendo en gran parte en vídeo y luego esa parte es la que se me complica, porque tengo fotos por aquí, vídeos por allá, proyectos que empiezan, otros que terminan y muchas cosas por hacer. Todo se vuelve un caos y al final no termino haciéndoles un post de las cosas tan bonitas que he venido haciendo.
Estas fotos que hoy les comparto son de hace días que fui al Castillo, mi tienda textil favorita aquí en mi ciudad. En esta oportunidad fui a comprar unas telas para hacerle una falda pantalón a mi princesa Ámbar. Esta la quería hacer en varios tonos: amarillo, azul y rojo, y esta vez no por los colores de mi querida Venezuela, sino por los del uniforme del equipo de fútbol de España, que también lleva estos colores.
Como estamos en la fiesta mundialista del fútbol y mi princesa tiene que presentar un baile de fin de curso en su escuela, escogieron esta vestimenta para ese día especial.
A la venta hay muchos uniformes de diferentes colores y estilos, y a mi princesa le gustó el de España, aunque fuimos a buscar el de Cristiano Ronaldo. Tenían que ponerse la camisa del uniforme con una falda que combinara. Bueno, yo decidí hacerle una falda circular con estos tres colores y luego les estaremos mostrando cómo quedó de bonita.
Y también fui a comprarle una tela que tuviera tonos azules para hacerle un outfit para la confirmación de su papá, que será en julio, pero no quería que fuéramos todos en el mismo color azul. Así que escogimos una tela estampada con unas lindas flores azules; se ve muy delicado y seguro le haré un proyecto hermoso para mi princesa.
Así que luego les mostraré paso a paso lo que he estado realizando con mucho amor y aprendiendo cada día las diferentes técnicas de la costura, que me tiene enamorada de este arte.

Getting ready for some lovely projects
Greetings and blessings, my dear friends at @needleworkmonday. It’s a pleasure to visit you on such a beautiful day. It’s been a long time since I’ve stopped by this lovely community—one of my favorites. It’s not that I don’t have material or content; it’s that I have too much. But I’ve been creating most of it on video, and that’s the part that’s been tricky for me, because I have photos here, videos there, projects that are just starting, others that are finishing, and so many things to do. It all turns into chaos, and in the end, I can’t seem to get around to writing a post about all the lovely things I’ve been making.
The photos I’m sharing with you today are from a few days ago, when I went to “El Castillo,” my favorite fabric store here in my city. This time, I went to buy some fabric to make a skirt-pants for my little princess, Ámbar. I wanted to make them in several shades: yellow, blue, and red—and this time, not because of the colors of my beloved Venezuela, but because of the colors of the Spanish national soccer team’s uniform, which also features these colors.
Since we’re in the middle of the World Cup festivities and my little princess has to perform in an end-of-year dance at her school, they chose this outfit for that special day.
There are many uniforms for sale in different colors and styles, and my little princess liked the Spanish one, even though we went looking for Cristiano Ronaldo’s. They had to wear the uniform jersey with a matching skirt. Well, I decided to make her a circle skirt with these three colors, and later we’ll show you how pretty it turned out.
I also went to buy her some blue-toned fabric to make an outfit for her dad’s confirmation, which will be in July, but I didn’t want us all to be wearing the same shade of blue. So we chose a fabric with a pretty blue floral print; it has a very delicate look, and I’m sure I’ll make a beautiful outfit for my little princess.
So later on, I’ll show you step by step what I’ve been working on with lots of love, while learning new sewing techniques every day—techniques that have me completely in love with this art form.
