Hola amigos. Ayer tuve la oportunidad de pasar un tiempo increíble con un grupo de niños maravillosos, todos ellos de segundo y tercer grado, con edades comprendidas entre los 7 y los 9 años.

Trabajé con un grupo de siete niños encantadores, los cuales realizaron tres actividades emocionantes y educativas. La primera fue el dibujo, donde algunos expresaron su creatividad en papel. Además, este tipo de actividad es genial para desarrollar la motricidad fina, ya que requiere movimientos precisos y controlados de las manos y los dedos.
I worked with a group of seven lovely children, who carried out three exciting and educational activities. The first one was drawing, where some of them expressed their creativity on paper. Also, this type of activity is great for developing fine motor skills, as it requires precise and controlled movements of the hands and fingers.

La segunda actividad fue un juego de construcción, similar a los famosos bloques de Lego. Algunos niños estaban ansiosos por empezar a crear. Construir con estos bloques no solo fue divertido, sino que también ayuda a desarrollar la motricidad al igual que el dibujo.
The second activity was a construction game, similar to the famous Lego blocks. Some children were eager to start creating. Building with these blocks was not only fun, but also helps to develop motor skills as well as drawing.

Pero de todas, esta es mi actividad favorita: rompecabezas. No solamente es un juego, es una herramienta educativa versátil que ofrece amplios beneficios para el desarrollo de los niños. Estaba decidido a desafiar sus mentes y estimular sus procesos cognitivos. Aunque la escuela no contaba con los recursos para proporcionar rompecabezas, no me detuve. Los hice yo mismo. Sí, son simples y sencillos, pero cumplen su propósito de proporcionar diversión y desafío para los niños. Además, los rompecabezas son una excelente manera de fomentar el pensamiento crítico, la resolución de problemas y la concentración.
A pesar de las dificultades, siempre se puede encontrar una solución creativa. Después de todo, no se necesita mucho para divertirse y aprender. Lo importante es la dedicación y el entusiasmo que ponemos en las actividades. Todos estábamos completamente inmersos en ellas, riendo, aprendiendo y disfrutando juntos. Porque aunque no lo crean, yo aprendo de ellos, día a día.
Al final del día, me sentí increíblemente feliz y satisfecha. Pude ver cómo los niños se beneficiaban de las actividades y cómo crecían tanto en habilidades motoras como cognitivas. No hay nada más gratificante que eso. Espero muy pronto poder realizar alguna otra actividad. Me complace ser útil y ayudar a estos pequeños.
But of all, this is my favorite activity: puzzles. Not only is it a game, it is a versatile educational tool that offers wide benefits for children's development. I was determined to challenge their minds and stimulate their cognitive processes. Even though the school did not have the resources to provide puzzles, I did not stop. I made them myself. Yes, they are simple and straightforward, but they fulfill their purpose of providing fun and challenge for the children. Additionally, puzzles are an excellent way to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and concentration.
Despite the difficulties, a creative solution can always be found. After all, it doesn't take much to have fun and learn. What matters is the dedication and enthusiasm we put into the activities. We were all completely immersed in them, laughing, learning, and enjoying together. Because believe it or not, I learn from them, day by day.
At the end of the day, I felt incredibly happy and satisfied. I could see how the children benefited from the activities and how they grew in both motor and cognitive skills. There is nothing more rewarding than that. I hope to be able to do some other activity very soon. It pleases me to be helpful and assist these little ones.
