Also, she had blue blood instead of red blood, that could get her into trouble because bearing a child of blue blooded creatures was a crime and they would be charged with treason to the community and sentenced a death penalty and hung in the public.
Bella told Franchesca she can leave home when she is 18 and she has to pass some tests during this two year period. Bella brought Franchesca to a creature who lived in the woods called Morastos to teach her the basics of how humans, animals and other creatures in the woods could be of danger to her and how she could protect herself in case an attack happens. Bella insisted that her daughter learn how to be safe out there and Franchesca accepted this condition.
She learned a series of skills like horse back riding, how to fight with a sword and how to keep her mind at bay and be calm to figure out what the next move is when something bad happens. She also learned how to do magick and cast spells like how to hypnotize an enemy when they attack her, how to reverse death spells, and how to shield herself with an invisible wall of protection. She learned the properties of plants, which ones are poison and which ones have healing properties and how to use all of that. Also, she learned how to hunt animals and sell them at the market and get gold coins. She passed all these tests and came out triumphant.
It was on her 18th birthday when she started to feel strange, she told her mother she is not ready to pass the final test, because maybe she has fallen ill. She passes out in her mother's arms. When she finally wakes up, Bella shares a secret with her daughter.
