2 Rebellion Cards in the META That Can Help You in “Bronze League” [ES-EN]

Cover created in Canva

Last week I talked about the “Bronze League,” discussing how to apply the win rate there, as well as some cards that could be used in the different formats (Modern and Wild) to achieve the highest possible win rate and increase your chances of winning each battle, but this time I’ll be much more specific with the information, as I’ll provide you with several cards you can use right now to include in your battle decks—of course, with a “Win Rate” calculated based on battles and usability using a script I created myself with the help of AI and data from Splinterlands.
In this post, I’ll share just two cards because I think the post would get too long, but there are more than three, so this will be a series of posts divided into three or four parts. This will be the first one, focusing on the cards, though it will complement my previous posts on the “Bronze League” and its win rate. Additionally, among the cards with the highest win rates and usability, we find cards from “Rebellion” and “Arcane Conclave,” however, let’s remember that the next set to transition to the “Wild” format is precisely Rebellion. So, if you want to apply these strategies and more with those cards, I recommend renting them because the cards could lose their value once they enter that format and can no longer be played in “Modern.”
So, with all that said, I hope this information will be useful to you, especially to newcomers and players who are just starting out, since one of your first steps will be the “Bronze League.” So, read all the way to the end, and let’s get right to the information.

The "Bronze" META: The 2 Most Powerful Cards in the Modern Format

In this section, I’ll try to get right to the point, since in previous posts I covered a lot of theory about how “Win Rate” works, how to apply it to the “Bronze League,” and many other interesting topics that you can check out there, so here I’ll share the most powerful cards that work best in the “Modern” format—at least the top 3—so be sure to stay tuned for the rest of this series.

Halfling Refugee (Neutral- Rebellion SET of Recompenses)

Rarity and Edition: This is an Epic card and belongs to the Rebellion Edition of reward cards.
Bronze Level Cap: An Epic card can be played up to level 2
Bronze Stats: This card has a mana cost of 1, which is excellent because it offers a lot of freedom and versatility. Additionally, at this level, it has +3 melee attack, +3 speed—which are very good at this stage of the game—and +6 health, which is a huge amount for a “Bronze” card with a mana cost of 1.
Abilities at Bronze: Its only ability is more of a “debuff” that affects its already high stats.
Battle Performance: It has a 57.10% win rate, which is pretty good, with a maximum winning streak of 16 victories—though keep in mind that it’s not enough to just play it; it’s all about how you play it.
Final Analysis: This is one of the most influential and widely used cards in the Rebellion set. It has a 2% play rate, which may not seem like much, but it outperforms many other cards from the same set, so it’s played frequently in various types of matchups. With just 1 mana cost, this card can serve as cannon fodder placed in strategic locations on the field—such as the back row—since it only has the “Weary” ability. As a result, using it as a decoy can work quite well. Remember that the strength of Bronze cards lies not so much in their abilities as in their stats; as you level up your cards, their abilities take on a more prominent role.

Ujurak Elder (Neutral – Rebellion SET of Recompenses)

Rarity and Set: This is a “Common” card in the Rebellion set of the Rewards Edition, which is actually pretty good, since it’s commonly believed that the most powerful cards come from higher rarities—and that’s a misconception.
Bronze Level Cap: This card can only be used up to Level 3.
Bronze Stats: This card has a very good mana cost of just 3 points, making it easy to play in various scenarios and conditions. It has a magic attack of +1 point—quite weak—but its strengths lie elsewhere: it has only 1 speed point, no shield, and just +2 health points. It may seem disappointing, but it’s also a good defensive card.
Abilities in Bronze: At the level where we can use it in Bronze, it has only 2 abilities: Camouflage and Divine Shield. These work very well as “defense,” especially if we want it to stay alive until the very last second, as it can be our key to winning the battle. I’ll explain briefly.
Battle Performance: It has a 54.10% win rate and a maximum winning streak of 14 victories. Although the same principle applies as before, it’s not enough to just play it—it’s how and when we use it that matters.
Final Analysis: This card should by no means be taken lightly at first glance, as it’s a very good “Offensive Support” card; it’s often underestimated because of its low health, however, it’s harder to defeat than it seems, thanks to its “Camouflage” and “Divine Shield” abilities. So, even if we can boost that attack by +2 points, that attack will be consistent and practically guaranteed without any risk until it’s time for it to take the top spot in our lineup.

Final Thoughts

While I could cover many more cards, I don’t want to make the posts too long and boring, but I’ll find a way to condense everything I want to convey so that the next post covers 3 cards instead of just 2 again, since the plan is to do a maximum of 4 parts and no more than that. For now, take note of these two cards, which are extremely useful as “Support” cards—though I’d say they have a pretty decent offensive side as well. So, tell me—have you played with these cards in “Bronze”? What did you think? Leave your comments, and I’ll be happy to respond.
See you on the "Battlefield"
