How to Focus on Leveling Up Your Cards Based on What You Have [ES-EN]

Something all players should know when they start the game is that to progress, they need to understand the card leveling process, since this allows you to gain an advantage over other players and, of course, be much more competitive. Ultimately, this is what we all want in order to earn rewards, since we earn them by playing battles, but as I’ve already said, our deck needs to be at a decent level if we want to increase our chances of winning many of these battles.
However, with so many cards and various ways to earn them, players—especially new ones—don’t know what to do, how to get started, which ones to level up, or, worse yet, what the process for leveling them up entails, how to know exactly how many they need, or what to do if they don’t have the resources—or, conversely, if they do. I’ll try to answer all these questions—or at least most of them—in this post. I’m not sure if I’ll split it into two parts, but I hope to cover most of the information here.
So, I'll go through this step by step so you can understand the whole topic. But don't worry—it's not complicated, and you don't have to be an expert. It's just that not many new players are familiar with these topics, which is why it might seem a little tricky at first. But you'll just need to go over it again.
Basics – Card Leveling and Combinations
For those who don't know, the only way to progress and level up in the game is by leveling up your cards. Of course, this isn't the only thing you can do, but it's essential if you want to be competitive and fight for a good ranking in the league you're competing in. That's why the only way to achieve this is by leveling up your cards through a process known as "Combination," although it's also kind of like a fusion.
He explained this because, even though it's very basic, new players might not be familiar with the process or how it works, so I'll explain it below:
Merger/Consolidation Process
The Mechanism: When you look at a card in your “Items” section, you’ll see a green bar that represents the card’s experience—or, in this case, its level, which is the correct term for it. But what’s important is that next to that bar is a number indicating how many copies or cards you need to fuse in order to reach a new level.
The Benefit: The important thing about leveling up cards is that doing so unlocks the next levels, and in many cases this brings new abilities, making the card much more useful depending on the ability that’s unlocked or the type of card it is. This is crucial because one of these abilities can undoubtedly determine the outcome of a battle.
Limitations: To prevent the game system from becoming unmanageable and to keep it under control, units can only fight at their full potential if the “Archon/Summoner” allows it based on their level. For example, if you have a rare summoner and are playing in the Gold league, to use its full potential, the summoner must be at least level 6. At this level, you can summon common cards up to level 8, rare cards up to level 6, epic cards up to level 5, and legendary cards up to level 3.
Reward Cards and Market Cards
There are two types of cards in the game, and both are excellent and well worth it because, regardless of which one you choose based on your situation, you’ll be able to compete at the highest level while building your deck as much as possible. With that in mind, here are the two types:
Reward Cards: Currently, the reward cards are from the “Arcana Conclave” set, which are incredibly powerful, so it’s worth completing this deck.
Market Cards: These are the original cards from the set—the ones that come in "Arcana Conclave" packs and now in "Escalation," the mini-set that features the same border as the main "Arcana Conclave" set.
Now, what are the specific characteristics of each of these types of letters? I’ll explain that below:
Reward Cards
One unique feature of reward cards is that they are “bound to the soul”—or, to put it another way, they are tied to the player’s account. which means they cannot be sold or transferred unless you pay a fee in DEC tokens to unlock them so you can sell them on the market, or alternatively, unlock these cards using “Scrolls,” which share the same rarity as the cards and allow you to unlock a certain number based on the card’s BCX value.
Now, regarding the question of how to obtain these letters or what the process is, please pay close attention:
The GLINT Store: The main way to obtain these cards is through the rewards store, where you can use the GLINT you earn in battles to gradually acquire the cards and complete your deck.
What's the Advantage?: Well, you can choose in the store what type of cards (rarity) you can unlock, which is great because this way you can decide where you want to start in order to complete the full deck of rewards.
What's the downside?: The Draws and Chests—where you can buy cards and obtain certain items—have a purchase limit per season, and every time you reach that limit, the price for the rest of the season increases by 50%. This means that the best strategy for building your deck is to simply purchase the full limit and avoid the 50% price increase.
Market Cards
Here, cards are fully transferable, and you can get them on the market or, if not, by opening packs. You have a lot of flexibility here, but let's go over the pros, cons, and all the details:
Direct Purchase from the Marketplace: This is the main point—you can buy any card from the marketplace and quickly put together a deck; it's one of the fastest ways to do it.
What's the Advantage?: As I mentioned earlier, speed is key; your progress can accelerate exponentially. Plus, you can buy cards of different levels, avoiding the need to buy them one by one—though it all depends on the market price.
What's the downside?: Price volatility, and of course, the fact that it requires a lot of capital to build a deck.
Final Thoughts
These are the ways to build decks and level up your cards, but the difference lies in what you have. If you want to start for free, you need to focus on completing and leveling up your reward deck; on the other hand, if you have funds, the market option is, for obvious reasons, the best choice. There’s a third way to be competitive, which is renting, but I’ll talk about that in another post.

Algo que todos los jugadores deberían de saber al momento de iniciar en el juego es que para progresar necesitan entender el proceso de nivelación de las cartas, ya que esto te permite tomar ventaja sobre estos jugadores y por supuesto ser mucho más competitivo, al final esto es lo que queremos todos para ganar recompensas, puesto que las ganamos jugando batallas, pero como ya lo he dicho, necesitamos que nuestro mazo de cartas tenga un nivel si se quiere decente, para lograr aumentar las probabilidades de ganar muchas de estas batallas.
Sin embargo, con tanas cartas, con varias formas de ganarlas, los jugadores, especialmente los más nuevos, no saben qué hacer, como iniciar, cuales subir de nivel, o peor, como seria el proceso para subirlas y como conocer exactamente cuántos necesito o que hacer si no tienes capital, o por el contrario sí que lo tienes. Todas estas preguntas o al menos la mayoría de ellas tratare de responderlas en esta publicación. No estoy seguro si la dividiré en 2 partes, pero espero cubrir gran parte de la información aquí.
Así que, iré paso por paso para que vayan comprendiendo todo este tema, aunque igual no se asusten, no es que sea complicado o tengamos que ser eruditos, simplemente no muchos jugadores nuevos conocen sobre estos temas y es por eso que quizás se les haga un poco complicado, pero, solo tendrían que repasar nuevamente.
Fundamentos – Nivelación de cartas y Combinaciones
Para los que no lo saben, la única forma de progresar y aumentar tu nivel en el juego es aumentando tus cartas de nivel, por supuesto, esto no es lo único, pero es obligatorio hacerlo si es que quieres ser competitivo y luchar por un buen puesto en la liga donde compitas, es por eso que, la única forma de lograr esto es aumentando el nivel de las cartas por el proceso que se conoce como “Combinación”, aunque también sería como una especie de fusión
Explicó esto porque, aunque es muy básico, los nuevos jugadores podrían no estar familiarizados con el proceso o en como funciona, por lo que a continuación lo explicare:
Proceso de Combinación/Fusión
El Mecanismo: Cuando observas una cartas en el apartado de tus “Items”, veras un barra de color verde que seria como la experiencia que tiene la carta, o en este caso su nivel, que es la forma correcta de llamarlo, pero, lo importante es que, junto a esa barra, se encuentra un numero la cual indica el numero de copias o cartas que necesitas para fusionarlas y lograr un nuevo nivel.
El Beneficio: Lo importante de subir el nivel de las cartas es que al hacerlo desbloqueas los siguientes niveles y en muchas ocasiones esto trae consigo nuevas habilidades, haciendo la carta mucho más útil dependiendo de la habilidad que se desbloquee o el tipo de cartas que sea. Esto es fundamental porque una de estas habilidades puede definir sin duda el curso de una batalla.
Las Limitaciones: Para que el sistema de juego no se desborde y este controlado, las unidades solo pueden batallar en su máximo potencial si el “Arconte/Invocador” lo permite de acuerdo con su nivel. Para poner un ejemplo, si tienes un invocador raro y estas jugando en liga oro, para poder usar todo su potencial este debe ser mínimo nivel 6, al tener este nivel pueden invocador a cartas comunes hasta el nivel 8, raras, al 6, épicas al 5 y legendarias al 3.
Cartas de Recompensa y Cartas de Mercado
Existen 2 tipos de cartas en el juego y ambas son muy buenas y valen completamente la pena porque independientemente de cuál elijas dependiendo de tu situación, podrás competir en el juego al mas alto nivel mientras vas completando lo mas que puedas el mazo de cartas, con esto claro, tenemos 2 tipos que son:
Cartas de recompensa: Actualmente las cartas de recompensa pertenecen a la edición de “Conclave Arcana”, las cuales son increíblemente fuertes y vale la pena completar este mazo.
Cartas de Mercado: Pues estas son las cartas originales de la edición, las que salen en los paquetes de Conclave Arcana y ahora Escalation que es la mini edición que tiene el mismo marco del SET principal de “Conclave Arcana”.
Ahora bien, cuáles son las particularidades de cada uno de estos tipos de cartas, pues a continuación lo explicare:
Cartas de Recompensa
Una particularidad de las cartas de recompensa es que están “ligadas al alma” o para que me entiendan mejor, están ancladas a la cuenta del jugador, esto lo que quiere decir es que, no se pueden vender ni transferir, salvo que pagues una cuota en tokens DEC para desbloquearla y puedas venderla en el mercado, o en su defecto ir desbloqueando estas cartas con “Pergaminos”, los cuales vienen de la misma rareza que las cartas y que, dependiendo de los BCX que tenga la carta es que podrías desbloquear cierta cantidad.
Ahora bien, la pregunta de como obtener estas cartas o cual es el proceso presten mucha atención:
La Tienda de GLINT: Para obtener estas cartas, la forma principal de lograrlo es a través de la tienda de recompensas, en donde podrás utilizar el GLINT que ganes en las batallas para ir ganando las cartas y completar el mazo.
¿Cuál es la Ventaja?: Pues que puedes elegir en la tienda que tipo de cartas (Rareza) puedes desbloquear, lo que es muy bueno porque de esta forma controlas desde donde quieres iniciar para completar el mazo completo de recompensas.
¿Cuál es la Desventaja?: Que los Draws y los Cofres que es donde puedes comprar las cartas y obtener ciertos ítems tienen un límite de compra por temporada y cada vez que este limite llega, el precio en una mima temporada aumenta en un 50%, esto quiere decir que lo mas optimo para ir completando el mazo es solo comprar la totalidad del limite y evitar el aumento del 50%.
Cartas de Mercado
Aquí las cartas son completamente transferibles y las puedes conseguir en el mercado o en su defecto en la apertura de paquetes. Aquí tienes mucha versatilidad, pero vamos a explicar las ventajas, desventajas y todos los detalles:
Compra Directa en el Mercado: Esto es lo principal, puedes comprar cualquiera de las cartas en el mercado y no tardarte en completar un mazo de cartas, es una de las formas más rápidas de hacerlo.
¿Cuál es la Ventaja?: Como ya comenté, la rapidez es primordial, tu progresión puede adelantarse de forma exponencial, ademas, puedes comprar cartas de diferentes niveles, evitando comprar una a una, aunque, todo depende del precio de mercado.
¿Cuál es la Desventaja?: Esta la volatilidad de los precios y que por supuesto requiere de mucho capital para poder completar un mazo.
Consideraciones Finales
Estas son las formas de armar mazos y subir de nivel tus cartas, pero, la diferencia esta en lo que tengas, ya que, si quieres comenzar de forma gratuita, necesitas enfocarte en completar y subir de nivel tu mazo de recompensas, en cambio si tienes capital, la opción de mercado es por obvias razones la mejor decisión. Existe una tercera forma de ser competitivo y se trata del alquiler, pero puedo hablar de eso en otra publicación.
